Taehyung woke up to an empty bed, his heart still heavy from the previous day's events. He knew Jungkook had come home, but he hadn't expected him to sleep next to him without even a touch.

As he got ready for the day, his mind raced with questions. What had happened between Jungkook and Minhyun? Why was Jungkook so distant, so cold?

He found Jungkook in the kitchen, sipping coffee and staring out the window. "Jungkook, can we talk?" Taehyung asked, his voice soft.

Jungkook turned, his eyes guarded. "What is it, Taehyung?"

Taehyung hesitated, unsure how to broach the subject. "It's about Minhyun... and your past. I know something happened between you two, something that hurt you deeply."

Jungkook's expression turned glacial, his voice icy. "I don't want to talk about it, Taehyung. It's none of your business."

Taehyung's heart ached at the rejection, but he knew he had to push on. "I'm your husband, Jungkook. I deserve to know the truth."

Jungkook avoided Taehyung's question, his eyes flashing with a warning. "I said it's none of your business, Taehyung. Drop it."

Taehyung's mind reeled with confusion. How could Jungkook be so cold, so distant? Taehyung was a different person at the hospital, kind and compassionate towards his patients. Everyone loved him, from the nurses to the other doctors. He was the favorite doctor, the one everyone trusted.

As Taehyung arrived at the hospital, he was greeted with warm smiles from his colleagues. In the cafeteria, he joined his friends, Jimin, Suzy, and Rowon, for a quick breakfast before rounds.

"Hey, Taehyung! How's it going?" Jimin asked, sipping his coffee.

"Good morning, guys," Taehyung replied, trying to shake off the tension from his conversation with Jungkook. "Just trying to stay awake after a long night."

Suzy sympathized, "I know the feeling. I had a crazy shift last night too."

Rowon chimed in, "Well, at least we have our favorite doctor to brighten up our day." He winked at Taehyung, who forced a smile.

But his mind was elsewhere, still trying to understand Jungkook's behavior. Why was he so different at home? What was he hiding?

Jungkook sat in his office, his eyes fixed on the papers in front of him, but his mind was elsewhere. The events of the past two days swirled in his head like a maelstrom, threatening to consume him.

He couldn't show his vulnerable state to anyone. He was the CEO of Jeon Corp, the biggest company in Seoul. He had to be strong, stoic.

But his hyung, Yoongi, saw right through him. He walked into Jungkook's office, his eyes filled with concern. "Jungkook, what's going on? You look like you're about to collapse."

Jungkook forced a smile. "I'm fine, hyung. Just a little tired."

Yoongi didn't buy it. "Don't lie to me, Jungkook. I know you. Something's eating away at you. Is it Minhyun? Is it Taehyung?"

Jungkook's eyes flashed, but he remained silent.

Yoongi sighed. "Listen, kook. I know you're struggling. But you need to move on from your past. You need to accept your new life with Taehyung."

Jungkook's laugh was bitter. "Accept it? You think it's that easy? I'm married to someone I don't love, hyung. Someone who deserves better than me."

Yoongi's voice was firm. "Taehyung loves you, Jungkook. And you need to learn to love him back. Minhyun is your past. Taehyung is your future. Don't let your past dictate your future."
