Before Taehyung arrived at Jungkook's office, Minhyun slipped in, his eyes fixed on Jungkook with an unnerving intensity. He strode straight to Jungkook, arms open wide, and attempted to hug him.

Jungkook's reflexes kicked in, and he pushed Minhyun away, his voice firm and warning. "Stay away from Taehyung and my family, Minhyun. Don't even think about it."

Minhyun's expression turned emotional, his eyes welling up with tears. "Jungkook, I'm sorry. I was blinded by my own desires. I never meant to hurt you or Taehyung."

Jungkook's gaze remained unyielding. "You've hurt us enough, Minhyun. I love Taehyung, and I'll do anything to protect him. Even if it means harming you."

Minhyun shivered at Jungkook's words, but his eyes never left Jungkook's face. "You're willing to do anything for him, aren't you? Even murder?"

Jungkook's eyes narrowed. "If it comes to that, yes. I'll gladly do it for Taehyung."

Just then, Minhyun's gaze flicked to the monitor, and he saw Taehyung approaching Jungkook's office. With a swift motion, he wrapped his arms around Jungkook, holding him in a tight embrace.

Minhyun's mocking smile was directed at Taehyung, his voice dripping with malice. "Oh, Taehyung, you're here. You always manage to come between me and Jungkook."

Jungkook hastened to intervene, "Baby, it's not what you think—"

But Taehyung cut him off, his eyes blazing with a fierce intensity. He turned his gaze on Minhyun, a sly smirk spreading across his face. "You think I'd doubt my Kookie because you hugged him? How cheap, Minhyun. You need to improve your technique."

With a swift motion, Taehyung slapped Minhyun, the sound echoing through the office. "Get out of here. I don't want to see your ugly face anymore."

Minhyun's face reddened with anger and humiliation as he retreated from the office, his eyes fixed on Taehyung with a venomous glare.

Jungkook stood stunned, witnessing a side of Taehyung he had never seen before. His husband's boldness and fierce protectiveness left him breathless.

"Taehyung..." Jungkook's voice was barely audible, his eyes locked onto Taehyung's.

Taehyung's gaze softened, his expression gentle once more. "I won't let anyone come between us, Jungkook. Not even Minhyun."
