~Naomi's P.O.V~
We walked- well Kakashi ran and I was being carried- in silence for the rest of the short trip back to the, now that I get a good look at it, very tall, red building. Once we were in the office I stood in not fifteen minutes earlier, I sat on the floor with a scowl in place. "Why am I back here?" There was a hint of whining in my voice as I crossed my arms. The Old man just raised an eyebrow and placed his chin atop his intertwined hands. "You do know you've commited the crime of trespassing through Konoha grounds without permission, right? You have to take a punishment or-" I really did not like his expression as he said that 'or'. "-you'll have to make a deal with me." There was a mischevious glint in his eyes as he mentioned his 'deal' so I definitley did not want to pick that choice.
.
"Okay, and what is this punishment, exactly?" I questioned cautiously. "Oh nothing really~! Just a sum of two months jail time and an interrogation with Ibiki. We have to make sure you aren't a threat of course!" I scowled irratibly at him as my headache that was going away started to come back. "Don't you think if I was a real threat I'd be trying to hurt you rather than running away?!" Ibiki grinned maliciously at me, one that promises pain, and I shivered, subtly moving away. This only made him bark out a laugh as he stared at me. "What's wrong? You scared? Not all talk now, huh?!" I nodded quickly as I pretended to cower in fear. "Oh dear Jashin, did you hear that? This village sends people to Scarface! In a dark room. Alone! I can only imagine how many people were raped down there. Talk about scary!" I shook my head with a smirk as Ibiki began to shake with anger, steam practically emitting off of his face. Just as he was about to most likely yell, Old man raised his hand to silence him.
.
"Would you like to hear the deal now?" I narrowed my eyes at him as he smirked "Go on.." Again with that mischevious glint in his eyes. "I give you a residence and money to start off all for the price of enrolling you in the ninja academy." I gripped the hem of my track suit sweater tightly as I gave him my reply. "I'd rather serve my jail time and be interrogated." And like magic, his smirk was wiped off his face. Even Ibiki frowned, losing that torture-promising grin. "Brat, you do know what happens during an interrogation, right?" I nodded my head. "I've been in one before." Jutting my hands out towards him, I ignored the looks I was getting. What? Did they think I've never been caught in a village before? But I'll tell you this, it hadn't been for 'trespassing'. I'm sure of that. "So just cuff me and let's get this over with."
.
I silently waited for them to take me away, but all they did was stared at me in shock. "I actually think it's pretty cool! I'm only about 11 to 13 and I already have a criminal record. That is soo badass!" Okay, yes. That was my attempt to make the mood lighten up in the room. It succeded though! A lot of people laughed! I followed a distraught Ibiki towards the door before Old man called after us. "Wait!" I glanced at him as I turned my head to look over my shoulder. "Hm? Hurry up so I could get this interrogation over with." His frown almost made me feel bad. And that's saying a lot. I'm going to take a guess that he likes children and isn't used to sending 'young ones' to jail. "Why do you detest being a ninja so much?"
