Next evening, Nirmay entered the bustling mansion, the warmth of home enveloping him. A one-year-old Aarush toddled towards him, his tiny legs working overtime.
"Ch... cha..." Aarush babbled in his baby voice. Nirmay scooped him up into his arms, planting a kiss on his chubby cheeks.
"Did you miss me?" Nirmay asked, his voice soft with affection. Aarush giggled and returned the kiss with an innocent slobber.
"Kal se pareshan kar ke rakha tha, chachu chachu kar ke," Piyali said, shaking her head but smiling at the adorable scene.
["He had been bothering me since yesterday, calling 'chachu, chachu' all the time."]
"Abhiman aur Naina bhi aane wale the... kaha reh gaye?" Shikhar asked, looking around.
["Abhiman and Naina were supposed to come too... where are they?"]
Just then, the door opened and in walked Abhiman, Naina, and Smita. Abhiman went around, taking everyone’s blessings, while Naina gave warm hugs to everyone. Smita, carrying a small gift bag, hugged Meenakshi.
"I have brought something for Vani," Smita said, her eyes twinkling.
"How are you, bachha? Uss khadoos insan ko chhodo aur mere paas aao," Abhiman teased, reaching for Aarush, who eagerly transferred to his arms. Naina stood beside him, talking sweetly to the baby.
"Ab to Abhi ke liye bhi ladki dhoond leni chahiye," Meenakshi said, her voice thoughtful.
["Now we should also find a girl for Abhi."]
"Kya bataun tujhe mai!! I am tired of looking for a suitable bride for him. Ye hai ki maan hi nahi raha," Smita added, sounding exasperated.
"Arre, mai jab tak Nirmay ke bachchon ke saath khel na lun, tab tak shaadi nahi karne wala," Abhiman declared with a grin.
["Hey, I'm not getting married until I get to play with Nirmay's kids."]
"Kyun? Shaadi ke baad unke bachchon ke saath khel nahi paoge aap bhaiya?" Ayushman asked, raising an eyebrow.
["Why? Won't you be able to play with his kids after you get married, Bhaiya?"]
"Aree tab to mujhe khud ke bachchon se fursat kahan milegi," Abhiman jokes, making everyone laugh.
["Oh, then where will I find the time away from my own kids?"]
"Badi jaldi hai bachchon ki tujhe! Pehle Ishana ko to aa jaane de," Naina said, suddenly gaining everyone’s attention. The room fell silent as the elders looked puzzled and the youngsters mentally slapped their foreheads. Abhiman glared at her, his eyes narrowing.
["You're in such a hurry for kids! Let Ishana come first."]
"What did you say?" Smita asked, her voice sharp.
"I... I mean... Haan, humne na decide kiya hai ki Nirmay Vani ki ladki hogi to uska naam Ishana rakhenge... isliye kaha maine Ishana ko to aa jaane do. Hehehe..." Naina laughed nervously, trying to cover up her slip.
["Yeah, we've decided that if Nirmay and Vani have a girl, we'll name her Ishana... that's why I said, 'Let Ishana come first.' Hehehe..."]
"Nahi, Ishana accha naam nahi hai. Kuch aur rakhenge," Smita said dismissively.
