"𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄 is he taking us? Nate questioned, as he along with the rest of the Miyagi-Do students leaned against the staircase of an abandoned building.

"Nowhere good," Demetri panted. "I head he drowned a kid in a pool trying to teach him how to kick, and that was before he sicced a rabid dog on Eli. This does not bode well."

"Let's go Miyagis. Move your asses!" Johnny ordered.

"C'mon guys, we're almost there." Scarlett said, running up the stairs, with Sam, Demetri, and the rest of the students following behind her.

Johnny kicked the door to roof top open when the kids met him at the top. They walked over to the edge to see  a few old mattresses at the bottom

"What the fuck?!" Maudie exclaimed, standing next to Scarlett, Sam, and Logan

"Oh, God. I'm tired of being right." Demetri sighed, then he and the rest of the students backed away from the edge of the building

"What are we doing here?" Sam questioned

"When an eagle's hungry, it doesn't hesitate. It'll dive down at 100 miles an hour to snatch its prey. It doesn't wait around for a fish to jump in its feet." Johnny said

"Talons." Demetri corrected

"It's not talent. It's instinct. An eagle knows it has to make the first move. If you want to beat Cobra Kai in the All Valley, you gotta break yourself of this wait-and-see crap."

"How exactly are we going to do that?" Maudie asked, clutching the strap of her Louis Vuitton backpack

"You're gonna jump from this roof to that one." Johnny replied nonchalantly, pointing to the other roof, which was quite the distance away

"What? Are you crazy?" Sam asked

"That building is like five Nates away and we're at least 14 Nates high!" Demetri exclaimed

"That's putting it lightly!" Logan exclaimed

"Please don't use me as a system of measurement." Nate pleaded from next to Demetri

"I don't know why you guys are surprised." Scarlett said, clutching the strap of her gym bag. "I mean—"

"Quiet!" Johnny yelled. "If you wanna be an Eagle, you have to learn to fly. You can't do that unless you jump."

"If we wanted to be an Eagle, we would have joined your dojo to begin with. We're right where we want to be." Scarlett stated. She liked Johnny and all, but he was pissing her off.
