"𝐀𝐑𝐄 you feeling okay, beautiful?" Robby asked as he and Scarlett sat in the doctor's office waiting to be seen.
Even though Scarlett took a home pregnancy test, she knew there was a chance it could always be a false positive, so the couple decided to go to the doctor's clinic to be sure. Moon recommended Dr. Bridges up in Encino, as she was the best.
"Yes, I'm alright honey. I'm just feeling a little nauseous, and a little nervous." Scarlett said, intertwining her hand with Robby's. "Also, I don't know how my dad is gonna react when he finds out."
"Hey, it's gonna be alright." Robby reassured as he kissed her temple. "You know I've got your back."
"Scarlett Mills?" the nurse named April said. "We're ready for you honey."
The couple stood as the nurse led them to the room. After April got Scarlett's vitals, she left the room, and Robby held her hand. After waiting for a few minutes, a woman in her late 40's walked in. "Good morning, I'm Dr. Bridges. It's a pleasure to meet you both."
"Hi Dr. Bridges, I'm Scarlett Mills, and this is my boyfriend, Robby Keene." Scarlett smiled
"It's a pleasure to meet you both." Dr. Bridges smiled as she sat down in front of the couple. "So, Ms. Scarlett, when did you find out you were pregnant?"
"A couple weeks ago. I was feeling nauseous, I had fatigue, and my period was late, so I just decided to go pick up a pregnancy test." Scarlett said
"A week ago. I took a home pregnancy test, and I understand sometimes those can sometimes have false positives, so I wanted to come in and take a pregnancy test to be sure." Scarlett said
"Well, I would like to order a blood and urine test. said. "Does that sound good?" Dr. Bridges said, and Scarlett smiled and nodded. "All right. I'll have April come in and draw the labs and get you set up for your urine and I'll be back to go over your results." she smiled as she stood up.
After Dr. Bridges left the room, April came in to draw Scarlett's blood, then she went across the hall for her urine test. After waiting for about 15 minutes, Dr. Bridges came back in the room.
"Well, Scarlett, your hCG in both your blood and urine were positive. Congratulations. You're pregnant." Dr. Bridges smiled
"Oh Scarlett." Robby smiled, as he pulled his girlfriend in for a loving embrace
"Congratulations to you both." Dr. Bridges smiled
"Thank you." Scarlett smiled
Dr. Bridges the sonogram machine, and conversed with the young couple. "How have you been doing symptom wise?"
