"𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐘𝐎𝐍𝐄, gather around." Daniel instructed as he walked out of the dojo. "It's great to see you all back here again. You know, we had one goal, going into the all Valley. Beat Cobra Kai." Scarlett, Maudie, and Sam glanced at each other, the two girls giving Sam a comforting smile, then back at Daniel. "We walked away with a first place trophy, thanks to Eli." he said, and everyone clapped. "As far as the rest of the tournament, well, it just didn't go our way. We said we'd close our dojo if we lost, and that's exactly what we're going to do. As of today, I am officially shutting down Miyagi-Do karate."
"What?" Maudie questioned. "But Mr. LaRusso—"
"I know that's not what you were hoping to hear, but with everything going on at Cobra Kai, continuing to operate Miyagi-Do only leaves a target on your backs. I have to keep you safe, okay? Just remember what you've learned. This dojo may be closing, but Miyagi-Do lives inside each of you still." Daniel said
"Great. Guess I'm getting a summer job." Demetri said, and the students left
"Dad, this can't be your plan." Sam said as Scarlett, Maudie, and Logan stood next to her.
"She's right, Mr. LaRusso. It doesn't matter if we close the dojo or not. Those assholes know who we are. What if that Terry Silver guy tells them to come after us?" Maudie asked
"I know you guys are disappointed." Daniel said
"I just wanna make things right." Sam said. "This wouldn't be happening if I hadn't lost to Tory at the tournament. This is all my fault." Scarlett and Maudie wrapped a consoling arm around their best friend.
"No, Sam. It's mine. With Johnny gone, it's on me to fix this. I reached out to Chozen because this isn't about a tournament anymore. This is real life." Daniel said
"But dad, I can fight!" Sam said
"We all can." Scarlett said, Maudie and Logan agreeing
"This isn't your fight, kids. I know firsthand that Silver isn't afraid of putting kids in harm's way. I have to keep all of you out of it! So please, just trust me on this." Daniel said, and the girls and Logan nodded then walked away
