𝐀𝐅𝐓𝐄𝐑 Amanda, Sam, and Anthony returned from Ohio, they learned that Daniel got into a fight with Terry and was severely injured. Amanda's cousin, Jessica Andrews, who was a friend of Daniel and Mr. Miyagi's from back in 1985, provided Amanda with insight as to why Daniel had been acting the way he had, as she told him the story of how Terry terrorized both of them as teenagers.
"It's been a week." Johnny said as he, Scarlett, Richard, Sharon, Chozen, Sam, and Amanda sat at the kitchen table. "The longer we wait—"
"Must let Daniel-san heal." Chozen said
"Look, Chozen's right." Amanda said. "I wanna do something to, but we can't just go after Terry Silver without—"
"Dad." Sam smiled, and the group turned to see Daniel walking into the kitchen
"Mr. LaRusso, are you all right?" Scarlett asked
"Fine kiddo." Daniel smiled, then turned to Johnny. "Johnny, what are you doing here?"
"Figuring out how to make Silver pay for what he's done to you." Johnny said
"What's with the suit?" Amanda asked
"I can't wear my pajamas to LaRusso Auto, can I?" Daniel asked
"Daniel. I told you you're supposed to be resting or did everything I said go in one ear and out the other?" Richard asked
"Daniel-san, we need to make plans—" Chozen said, but was cut off by Daniel
"Guys, I appreciate the sentiment, I do. But I'm out of this whole thing with Silver. If he wants the Valley, he can have it." Daniel said. "I'm done with karate."
"What do you mean you're done with karate?" Johnny asked
"Must not give up." Chozen said
"I am, giving up." Daniel said in defeat.
Scarlett stood up, and walked over to stand next to Sam. "But, Mr. LaRusso—"
"Scarlett, trying to go toe-to-toe with Terry Silver was a mistake. It almost cost me my family, I'm not making that mistake again."
"Daniel, we're with you. You don't have to stop fighting." Amanda said
"Yes I do. I became a sensei to help kids. Instead, I'm making everyone's life worse." Daniel said
