She cried silently to herself and then felt a certain urge to pray, "Dear Heavenly Father, I know I don't do this often but I come to you as humble as I know how thanking you for peace that surpasses all understanding regarding my current situation! I want to thank you for allowing it to happen and for seeing me through! I also want to thank you for everything you have in-store for me moving forward! I know that you will send me a wonderful man that will love me unconditionally and accept me and all I have to offer! I also know that you will fill my spirit with closure revolving this situation and allow me to move past any hurt or pain caused by the two people who I loved so much that hurt me the most! I also know that you will help me to continue to seek your face and open my mind up to more involving your will and your way! Again lord I thank you! In Jesus name I pray, AMEN!"
Fatima stood up and went to the bathroom to clean herself up again! Praying made her feel 100 times better and she needed to be able to let those tears fall instead of bottling everything up inside! She walked to her desk and inputted all information revolving the patients she had seen into the system! She checked her phone and noticed that she had missed calls and text messages from Lyn! She decided to change her number and finish her shift! She checked the time and placed her pager on her hip and went to the On-Call-Room to take a nap!
Fatima's House
Zac pulled up because he had been calling Fatima and was unable to reach her! He noticed her truck wasn't there but every time he called it said the number was no longer in service so he called Jake!
Jake, "Wassup Brother!"
Zac, "Can you ask Angela has she heard from T? She invited me over but clearly she isn't here and every time I call it says the number is no longer in service!"
Jake, "Yeah hold on!" Jake asked Angela and she said she would call her! She got the same response as Zac did and was confused asf!
Zac, "She got the same thing right?"
Jake, "Yeah idk where she could be honestly if she isn't home!"
Zac, "This is just strange! I'll look for her though and I'll call y'all back!"
Time progressed and Zac still didn't know where Fatima was! He decided to check the hospital because that was the only other place he could think of! When he pulled up he seen her truck! He decided to go grab her something to eat and then come back! He called Jake!
Jake, "Wassup man! Did you find her?"
Zac, "Yeah she's at work!"
Angela, "That's weird because she normally doesn't work on weekends unless she's on call and then still she's home until they call her!"
Zac, "Well her truck is here so I'm about to go get her something to eat and I'll chill up here with her!"
Jake, "You feeling her huh?"
Zac, "Yeah I like her but we don't mesh well together and whatever drama that's going to backfire from my brother I refuse to make her a pawn in his game!"
Jake, "I feel you but all I'm going to say is both of you deserve to be happy! Hurting alone doesn't make you perfect for anyone but healing together just might make you perfect for each other!"
Zac, "I hear you man! Let me grab this food! Tell Angela I'll make sure T calls her!"
Jake, "Alright brother!"
