Juugo drove in silence with Sasuke in the passenger seat assembling and loading several guns. Shisui sat in the backseat with two other men reading several documents carefully.

It was July 4, and the squad was scheduled to rendezvous with Kaguya Otsutsuki to sign the merger deal. It had been about a month in the making for both families, and was projected to generate several billion additional dollars for the Uchiha through a drastically streamlined ammunition smuggling line intersecting the Hidden Mist. Only select trusted members knew about this deal on both ends: the Otsutsuki clan was to hand over the ownership of all their city-wide casinos over to the Uchiha, while the Uchiha financed the Otsutsuki relocation to Konoha and offered complementary protection.

This deal was convenient for Sasuke, as the Otsutsuki had been busted in the Hidden Mist, and wanted to avoid persecution by changing jurisdictions, hence their relocation to Konoha. However, moving to a new city with no roots is reckless for a mob family, so the Otsutsuki needed an already established ally in the area. This was a perfect deal for both families, hence the careful planning and contract work for the past month.

They had finally set a place to meet - Kaguya had insisted on picking the meeting spot, which Sasuke agreed to out of respect this time. The meeting was to take place at a Hidden Mist gas station backroom that belonged to the Otsutsuki and was mainly used for inconspicuous undercover deals. It was located right by the Royal Casino, so no one ever suspected two properties so close together to be owned by the same mob, as mafia families tend to spread out. All the negotiations had already been completed and the contract was drafted, the only thing remaining was for both parties to sign.

Juugo pulled into the parking spot in front of the gas station and the men walked in. Kaguya had been waiting in the back room with three other family members and several armed men in suits. Sasuke sat down in the chair laid out for him in front of Kaguya. The room had a nice view of the casino through the windows. Sasuke took a glance of what was soon to be under his ownership.

The two clans greeted each other and got to business. As Kaguya picked up the pen to sign the deal, a massive explosion blinded the room and muffled all sounds. Everyone got on the floor and drew their weapons. Sasuke stayed alert and looked out the window to see the Royal Casino go up in flames.

"Shit!" He looked over at Shisui who was standing over injured Kaguya. Her family members were trying to help her up.

"SASUKE!" Shisui called over. Sasuke nodded at him - they were both thinking the same thing. This attack was clearly targeted, meaning someone knew about this meeting. Therefore, it was highly likely that the attackers would show up here as well. Sasuke signalled at Shisui and Juugo and the three armed men rushed to the entrance. He yelled over at the Otsutsuki members to evacuate for safety, but they chose to stay indoors for secrecy and call the security for information. Every Otsutsuki seemed panicked and devastated as their treasured property burned down. Muffled sirens sounded in the distance as the Uchiha men rushed to their car. Soon after they got inside, another explosion hit the vehicle, shattering several windows and blinkers. The gas station had exploded as well.

"Shit, there you are!!" Izuna rushed outside as the black Mercedes pulled into the Uchiha Mansion driveway. Sasuke got out of the passenger seat with several scratches on his face, glass shards in his suit, and fire in his eyes. Juugo stumbled out of the passenger seat, he'd been bruised pretty badly by a collision. Shisui exited the back seat and spat out blood.

"What the hell happened?" Izuna followed them back into the mansion. He was tuned into the meeting through his ear piece as usual, and he suddenly heard a loud bang before the signal cut out. He immediately checked the news and saw the large explosions in the Hidden Mist. It was nerve wrecking not being able to contact his team due to the broken earpieces during the explosion.
