"Okay... it's your choice. I'm leaving," the angel said, standing up.
"Wait... tell me," Sunghoon called out.

"I'm Sulli's angel. I mean, I'm your mama's angel. I met her when she was 16 . She is the kindest person I've ever met. I granted her three wishes, but she never asked for anything materialistic. While everyone else wished for money, property, and power, all she wanted was for me to talk with her for hours when she was sad or alone. I patiently waited for years, and then she got married. Even after getting married, she would sometimes call me to chat, but she never made a wish. Then she had you. After having you, she never called me again because I'm sure you completed her. You were everything to her. But one day..." The angel paused, looked at Sunghoon, and noticed tears in his eyes, waiting to drop.

"My angel, please come," Sunghoon's mom called with a stuttering voice because of her pain.
"After a long time," Angel said.

"I waited for your call, now I'm waiting, wish," Angel said in a husky voice.
"I'm sorry for not calling you. I thought my wishes were canceled," she said with a bitter smile.
"No, it's never canceled, until you wish. So hurry up."
Why? I'm dying, right? What, no time to hurry Sulli. I can save you. Wish, Angel said while holding her hand tightly.
"Ok, ok. I wish. No, this will be my wish, but it's a request, Angel. Please protect my son from every bad thing, sadness, pain, accident... from everything, until he finds his true love," she said while holding back tears.
"But I thought..."
"Please, I'm begging you."
"Ok. What is the second wish," the Angel asked importantly.
"My second wish, please give my third wish to my baby Sunghoon when he is 18. Tell him it's his mom's gift for his birthday."
"Are you crazy? You can't do this, Sulli."
"Please, you must do this for me. Promise me," she said, trying to smile through her tears.
"I promise. So this is what 'mom' called."
"Have I ever told you how beautiful you are? You never aged; you look the same as the last time we met."
"It's not the time for jokes," Angel said with a serious face.
"I know you can't feel anything, but remember how thankful I am to you. Thank you for everything, my Angel," she said while crying, trying to smile.
"I know, but you do have to."
I trust you, my Angel," she said, releasing her last breath.
"I'll fulfill your wish. See you again."
Loud silence spread around the hospital room. Angel still holding her hand. No one was there; only Angel and Sunghoon's mom's body.

Everything happened like that. I protected you from all dangers, and I will continue to do so until one day. I am now granting you a wish your mother's last wish, your only wish. So... wish for anything you want, the angel said.
Are you telling me to believe this nonsense? Even if it is true, you could have saved my mother from that situation. I don't want that and don't ever think of coming in front of me again.
"I can't do anything except what the owner of the wishes says. I also wanted to save her life, more than it's given to you. What to do, she is a mother. "Yes, I'm an idiot," Sunghoon exclaimed as he ran onto his apartment's balcony. Without a second thought, he jumped down from it, but after a moment, an angel caught him as if he were a child.
"Do you believe now that I am an angel?" Angel asked as they remained in the air.
Sunghoon didn't respond.
"Let's go back," Sunghoon said, avoiding eye contact.
"Okay," he replied as they both returned to Sunghoon's apartment. "I'll give you some time to think, and then I'm leaving. Don't do anything foolish, kid."
"I don't want anything," Sunghoon yelled, but the angel didn't pay any attention and disappeared.
