"Is he okay?" Wonyoung started to sob. Sunoo stood frozen in place, unable to look at Sunghoon and overwhelmed with guilt."He’s okay," Jay said. "Stop crying; this is a hospital."
"If he’s okay, why is he still unconscious?"
"He’ll wake up soon. The doctor said so. Don’t worry," Jake reassured her.
"Did they catch the criminal?" Wonyoung asked through her sobs.
"Not yet. The bastard’s car is illegal—no license plate," Jay replied.
"I know who did this," Wonyoung said, her eyes wide with pain. The boys looked at her. "It’s all because of me. He threatened me. Oh my god," she yelled in distress.
"What are you talking about?" Jake asked.
"That son of a bitch Ricky. I’m sure it’s him. I’ll never forgive him. I know what I need to do," Wonyoung said, her anger palpable. Sunoo’s blood boiled.
"Don’t rush to conclusions. We can’t assume anything yet," Jake said.
Sunoo thought to himself, "Even when the universe gave you a second chance to behave, you didn’t. Now, you have to suffer again stupid human clown.
Meanwhile, Jay looked at Sunghoon. "What’s meant to happen can’t be stopped. If I hadn’t saved him that day, my legs wouldn’t have been injured. No... maybe Sunghoon’s condition would have been worse. Jay, it’s okay. You made the right decision," he thought to himself.
[NEXT DAY]
Sunoo entered the hospital room. "Sunghoon has woken up," he said, looking at Sunghoon, who was staring back at him.
"Sunoo?" Sunghoon said.
"Who’s Sunoo?" Jay asked as he and Jake turned to see where Sunghoon was looking.
Sunoo approached him, and everything seemed to freeze; Jay and Jake stood motionless. "Sunghoon... are you okay?" Tears began to roll down Sunoo’s cheeks.
"Yes... I’m okay," Sunghoon replied, meeting Sunoo’s gaze.
"I’m sorry... I’m so sorry. I couldn’t protect you. I don’t know why I couldn’t sense it. If something had happened to you, I would never have forgiven myself. I never..."
"Shhhh..." Sunghoon said softly, placing a finger on Sunoo’s lips. They were only inches apart. "I thought angels didn’t have feelings. Why are you crying and apologizing?" he asked gently.
"This isn’t the time for that," Sunoo said, still crying. "I couldn’t save you, Sunghoon."
Sunghoon gently wiped away Sunoo’s tears. "Do you know why that is?" he whispered. Sunoo flinched. "It’s because my mom’s second wish came true," Sunghoon said with a smile, aware of Sunoo’s feelings for him.
"What do you mean?" Sunoo asked, his eyes wide. Suddenly, Sunghoon pressed a gentle kiss to Sunoo’s lips, causing Sunoo’s heart to race.
"I love you, Sunoo. I love you more than anything. I want to be with you forever. I know you love me too. I’ve found my true love. There’s no need for a protector anymore. My mom’s wish has come true. I love you," Sunghoon said, gazing into Sunoo’s eyes. Then his eyes traveled to Sunoo’s lips, and he leaned in to kiss him. But Sunoo stopped him and vanished without a word. Everything returned to normal.
"No one is here..." Jay said.
"Shit," Sunghoon cursed in disbelief.
"What happened?" Jake asked.

.[4 DAYS LATER]
Sunoo hadn't visited Sunghoon at the hospital, which left Sunghoon deeply disappointed. However, Sunghoon was unaware that Sunoo had been there while he was sleeping.
The doctor had cleared Sunghoon to go home since his condition had improved.
During his hospital stay, Sunghoon's family came to visit him. Despite not knowing the full extent of past events, he didn’t argue with them. Everything seemed to be returning to normal. Sunghoon’s father spoke with him, and Sunghoon learned about what had happened to his father, mother, and stepmother. He felt no more hatred towards them, seeing that everything had turned out for the best."Why aren’t you going to your father’s house?" Jake asked.
"Ah, I don’t want to bother them," Sunghoon replied. He simply wanted to go to his apartment and see Sunoo.
"But they asked you to. And you’re not fully recovered yet," Jake said.
"I can take care of myself. Don’t worry," Sunghoon said, handing Jake the door key. His heart raced with nervous anticipation. This would be the first time he would see Sunoo since the confession. "Will he be there?" Sunghoon wondered.
"That’s not right. I’ll stay with you. Jay is not here too, and Wonyoung can’t stay. I’ll be with you," Jake said as he opened the door.
When the door opened, Sunghoon saw Sunoo, who was staring at him with the most beautiful smile. Sunghoon swallowed hard.
"Did you hear what I said?" Jake asked with a serious tone.
"Uh... what did you say?" Sunghoon stammered.
"Oh god... I said I’m going to stay with you until you’re fully recovered."
Sunghoon glanced at Sunoo, who was now giving him a piercing stare. "Um, thanks, but it’s okay. My boyfriend will take care of me. Thank you for your help," he said, looking in Sunoo’s direction. Sunoo couldn’t stop smiling but tried to hide it.
"Oh, is that so?" Jake stuttered.
"Yeah, he couldn’t visit me in the hospital, so... you know? As a sort of punishment, he has to take care of me. Ha ha ha," Sunghoon said with a chuckle.
"Alright, then. I’ll leave. Take care," Jake said, and Sunghoon nodded.
"Thank you again for everything, Jake," Sunghoon said with a bright smile.
"My pleasure. Everything will be alright," Jake said as he left.
Sunghoon turned to Sunoo. "Why did—"
"Go and wash up. I don’t like that hospital smell. It’s irritating." Before Sunghoon could finish his sentence, Sunoo stopped him and pushed him toward the bathroom.
"Ah, why..." Sunghoon whined.
