Chapter 3: Cats

Jai's POV

     I jumped up on Preston while we were still making out. He started kissing down my neck and to my collarbone. I let out a small moan. He put me down on my bed and stopped kissing my collarbone. He started unbuckling his pants when I told him to stop. He looked at me and asked, "What's wrong? Did I do something wrong?"

Preston's POV

     I was so worried that he didn't like me or something like that. I just looked at his eyes and got lost in them and he mumbled something and I didn't realize he was saying something. And all of a sudden I'm back into reality and he said, "Preston, I really  like you but it's my first night here and I'm worried that you won't like me and...."

Jai's POV

     I trailed off because I started crying and within an instant I feel a pair of giant arms around me and I realize that Preston is hugging me. And then Kristin bursts through the door saying, "I heard crying." Then she saw me and said, "I'll be right back." She came back with a box of kleenex and an ice cream sandwich and sat right beside me and rubbed my back.
     Once I was done sobbing I sat up and looked them in the eye and told them that I'm missing my family and I left my cat there because I thought that I couldn't have pets here. Kristin looked at me and said, "Pack your bags." "Why?" "We're going to get your cat."
