Chapter 18: Christmas

Christmas morning

9:00 A.M.

Jai's POV

     I woke up next to Preston who is still asleep. "Merry Christmas, babe." I said, trying to wake Preston up. I shook him and he mumbled something. I straddled him and rubbed my nose to his nose. Still nothing. I kissed him on the lips, and he woke up. "Merry Christmas, Jai." he said. "Come on we have to go downstairs so I can see what you got me." I said pulling him out of bed. "Oh I know you'll like the present I'm going to give you." he said grinning. "Oh, really?" I said cocking an eyebrow. "Yes." he said beaming.

     There was one last present of mine left. It was a giant box wrapped in red wrapping paper. Preston picked it up and brought it over to me. It said, "To my loving boyfriend." I looked at him. "Well, are you gonna open it or what?" he asked me smiling. I ripped all of the wrapping paper off and it was a giant box. I peeled the tape off of the box and opened it. Inside there was a bunch of red roses, with chocolate around it and in the middle was a sign saying, "Will you marry me, Jai?" And right below that was a wedding ring box that was open. I took one look at it and started crying. "Yes." I said looking at Preston.
