Chapter 21: Taco Bell

Jai's POV

    I had just gotten to the car and noticed that Preston wasn't here yet. He had 5 minutes to get here.

Preston's POV

     I was just turning a corner to see the car and Jai standing next to it. I ran up to him and hugged him. "I made it. Shall we go to Taco Bell?" I asked him. "Let's go." he said. We got into the car and turned on the radio. "Just wait. I have Bluetooth on my phone so I'm gonna choose a song and you have to guess." he said. "Okay." I said. "Nice to meet you where you been? I can show incredible things. Magic, madness, heaven, sin." "Blank Space" I said. "Good." "You're the light, you're the night, you're the color of my blood." "Love Me Like You Do" I said. We did that for awhile and then we got into Taco Bell and ordered.

Jai's POV

     "I'll have 3 of the Cool Ranch Doritos's Locos Tacos and a large pop." I ordered. "I guess I'll have the same please." Preston said. We got our cups and we went to get our pops and got them and came back holding hands. ""Excuse me," a voice said. Preston and I both turned around to look at a older woman. "Yes?" I said. "May I look at your wedding ring? Not trying to be rude I just saw it and it reminded me of my son who has a husband also." she said. "Oh yes, of course." I said holding it out for her to look at. "Oh my goodness! You must have spent a fortune on that ring." she said looking at it. "It was worth it for an amazing guy like him." Preston said blushing. "And besides, you can't put a price tag on love." he said kissing me. "You two are the cutest thing. I'll tell you what, let me pay for your food." she said. "No, ma'am. I'm sorry I can't let you do that." I said. "Oh nonsense." she said. "You 2 look like you're madly in love and I would like to pay for your meal to help support gay marriage." She said. "Umm, ma'am..." I started to say but she pulled a 20 dollar bill out of her purse and handed it to me. I tried to decline but she insisted on us having it. "Have a happy ever after." She said walking away. I turned to Preston who had tears streaming down his face.

     We got our food and sat down. We were finishing our food. "Oh, look at the time. We gotta get going." He said getting up from the table. "Wait, where are we going?" I asked him. "Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you, we're going to Tokyo, Japan. They have the Pokemon Center there and I thought we could visit it." He said. OH MY GOSH! I was internally screaming. Preston grabbed my hand and we left going home to pack.
