Chapter 17: New House!

2 weeks later

4 days until Christmas

Jai's POV

     We had all of our stuff packed in Preston's SUV. We were moving to our new house. We had just said all of our goodbyes to Kristin and Sawyer who now moved in with her. Preston was leaving and I turned around and saw Kristin in tears waving at us. I waved back.

     We got there and moved all of our stuff in there. Preston and I were going to share the master bedroom. We were going to make one of the downstairs bedrooms an office area. We made the other bedroom a guest bedroom. We are using my bed as our bed because it is a king size bed and Preston's bed was a full size. We moved all of our office stuff in there. We had gotten the bed put together. It was only 4:00 still so we were going to go get some paint to paint our bedroom with and get a laptop for Preston and I. We also had to get a table, chairs, couch, T.V., and groceries. We have all of this money from 1: we have full-time jobs and 2: my parents said once I move out I can have $20,000 for myself. I saved that money so we could buy stuff for our new house.

     We just got back from getting all of our things. We got a small round table, some chairs for it, a sectional, a flat screen plasma tv that goes on the wall, and we got some stuff to make smoothies because our New Year's Resolution is to eat healthier. We also got a gray color to paint on our bedroom walls. We also bought a new comforter and sheet set, that's red with gray on it, and new dressers to match the color of our room. We got a rug for our room, too.

     We put the T.V. on the wall, we got the table and chairs put together, we got the bedroom set up, we just didn't paint it yet. We have the couch put together so we can watch T.V. in the living room. We have a flat screen T.V. for our room also. We also bought some end tables for our bedroom so we can put lamps and our laptops there.
