Chapter 8: Rocky

At PetSmart

Jai's POV

     We walk into the store and Kristin immediately sees this dog, a husky with a very attractive man holding it. We walk over to get Kristin and she looks up at him and I could tell that in her eyes she had fallen in love. She stood up and held out her and to shake it and he grabbed it and shook it and said, "Hi, my name is Sawyer." (It's not Sawyer Hartman) "My name is Kristin.", she said blushing. "Umm, this is my dog, Rocky." Sawyer said. "These are my roommates, Preston and Jai." she said while gesturing towards us. Preston and I both waved. "Who's in there?" Sawyer asked pointing towards the kennel we have Bookie in. "Oh, that's my cat, Bookie." I said. "Cool." Sawyer said. "We better get shopping, Preston. You can stay and chat with him, Kristin." "Okay.", she said obviously not paying attention to me.

     Preston and I were walking down the aisle where they have all of the cat condos. "We should get that one." Preston said pointing to one with a small hut with a ramp up to it and a platform on the top. "Grab it.", I said. Preston grabbed it and put the box into the cart. "You're strong." I said. "Really? Because, it wasn't really that heavy." He said. "You should really learn how to take a compliment." I said. He glared at me.

     We were checking out when I got a text form Kristin saying, "I'm going to Sawyer's house tonight. I'll be back later tonight." "k" I texted back. "Kristin's going to Sawyer's tonight." I said to Preston. "Okay."

     We were in the drive-thru at Taco Bell when I got a text from Kristin saying, "staying over at Sawyer's tonight" "k" I texted back. "She's staying over at Sawyer's tonight." I said to Preston. "Okay." "How about we watch a movie tonight?" I asked Preston, "Sounds good to me. Where we watching it?" He asked, "My room?" I asked, "Sure."
