Vihaan POV:
It's very good to meet you all after so long. How have you been? How is life treating you all? I bet you all are missing me, right?
I know because Vie and I missed you all as well. You were a special part of our journey, so I will never forget you all.
I know life is not lifing the way you need it to
Life!I know life is not always easy. There were days when you felt lost in the crowd, even when surrounded by your loved ones. You felt a kind of loneliness that was hard to overcome.
There were days when you wanted to run away from everything and live alone because you gave so much love but received so little in return.
I know there were days when you smiled through the day and cried all night because of the void left by someone who was once there. You felt that only they understood you, but they also left.
Somewhere between loving too much and getting hurt, your heart just got tired. Unwanted expectations and attachment issues wore you down.
And after some time, when the realization hit, you withdrew yourself from people because your heart got tired of the cycle of expectations and hurt.
But I know with time, you won't crave someone's presence to understand you. You are enough for yourself to understand and heal the wounds of your heart.
Acha, chalo, the speech has been long enough, right? Let's see what everyone is doing. I am sitting in the living room with a newspaper. Rahul sat beside me, drinking coffee.
And let me tell you some good news—Shri got married a few years ago and she is pregnant now. Anandh got married too. My parents moved to the village because it's peaceful for them.
It's been four years since Sunny moved abroad for her higher studies. Since then, the house felt so lonely, like something is missing.
Rishi sat beside me and snatched the paper from my hand. "I was reading, kiddo," I said. He didn't say anything as he turned the paper to the middle page and gave it back to me.
"What?" I asked, taking the paper from him. My eyes widened when I saw Arjun's huge photo in the center of the page.
It read, "The young CEO Arjun Singhania leading Singhania Empire into a new venture, making his dad proud." I looked back at Rishi.
He smiled and patted my back. "He gave an interview to the reporters yesterday, Jiju."
I nodded as Rahul snatched the paper from me, reading it. God, can people please stop snatching things away from me?
Rahul screamed, "Woah, Bhai! This is such good news." I sighed, Yes, true. It is good news indeed. I handed over the company to him just a year ago and he already made very good changes with it. He is truly making me proud. But will I show it to him? No, because he will start teasing me more then.
Hehe, he is still the same. Since he was a kid, he was, is, and will always be his mama's boy. He just loves teasing me and getting on my nerves; it's his favorite hobby.
Saanvi gave me a coffee and asked, "What is it, Aan? Why is everyone shouting?"
Rahul showed her the paper, jumping. I counted, 1...2...3... Bunny! Saanvi shouted. There you go, that boy came down running still in his sweatpants. I bet he just woke up by his mama's voice.
"What happened, Mama?" he asked, rubbing his eyes. Saanvi, Rahul, and Rishi gave him a tight hug as Saanvi shouted, "Congratulations, Bunny! You made me so proud."
She pecked his forehead as I said, "He is not a kid anymore, Vie."
Arjun turned to me and said, "Oh, it's okay, Dad. I love Mama's kisses." He kissed her cheek as well and showed me his tongue. I swear, this kid sometimes makes me want to strangle him.
