A/N: Today we have Leilani's best friend, Blyss Ackermann! :)

"Don't worry Mrs Haine. We'll be at detention...."

Leilani and Issac grumbled as they quickly escaped the wrath of the demon teacher. The bookworm grumbled as she started reading her book. Of course it was Grainliers, a new many she picked up at her local library. Issac replied, "How the hell are you seriously reading and still walking?" Leilani muttered, "I'm multitasking, I'm getting to a really good part..." He rolled his eyes as they slowly drifted far from each other's company to go to their own little friend groups.

Suddenly Leilani felt that she couldn't see, and she was correct. She couldn't see anything. "Guess who?~" A cheerful voice asked as gentle hands covered her eyes. Leilani smiled as she chuckled; it was quiet obvious who it was. Leilani enthusiastically cheered, "Hm... It's, someone named.. Blyss! It's you, Blyss!" She opened her eyes and saw a smiling Blyss. Blyss grumbled, "Now who's totally ready to take that math test? Oh wait... You just did yours!" She cackled as she joked around with Leilani. Leilani remarked, "You can't be talking, I'm not the one who has orchestra for 1st period and has to be stuck with stupid sixth graders as the orchestra buddy!"

Blyss fake gasped as she glared at Leilani with a playful expression. "I can't believe," She started as she pointed at her with drama, "You out of all people decide to betray me..." She said as she shed a fake tear, and she wiped away a fake tear for, her face. "Theater kid..." Leilani muttered as she blinked a couple of times before remarking, "...Girl you're a theater kid too. You cannot be talking." Leilani rolled her eyes as she dragged Blyss and quickly checked the time in her watch as her eyes widened in fear. "QUICK! WE ONLY HAVE 1 MINUTE TO GET TO PE!"

The girls ran as if they had never ran before. It was even better than how the two even ran in the mile, and surprisingly no teachers caught them.

Therefore they were super close to being late, but they made it just in time. Coach Moncrief, their gym teacher, stated, "Hey, why're you two so late?" The two girls looked at each other before Leilani out on a soft smile as she lied, "We were just talking to my math teacher about a project!" Coach Moncrief glared at them as she shrugged it off. She couldn't really care for what the two would do.

Leilani and Blyss sighed a breath of relief that they didn't even know that they were holding. Blyss reminded, "Let's never be late to another class because of some random game.." Leilani nodded and she replied, "You'll have to remind me..." Blyss nodded as the two quickly went to change into their PE clothes.

After class Leilani groaned as she had science next. Sure, she was chill with the science teacher, but she just didn't really like the materiel they would cover during class. It was just boring to her, she hated most of the kids in the class, and they did more notes than assignments or projects. Not to mention she sat next to one of the most annoying kids in her class, Abby Littlepaige. Sure, Abby was sometimes nice to her, but she was even more annoying.

Now, Leilani really tried to not hate on Abby. She really didn't want to really hate her, she didn't really. She knew that their personalities just weren't very compatible, but she especially hated how Abby and her friends always chose to hang out around her desk. Also, her friends did act really weird around her, but they never had any bad intentions.

Although to her surprise, Mr Wright had decided to switch up the seats, and he made them partner wise. Of course she was stuck in a corner of the classroom, which to her was the best. She was in the left back corner of the room as she was closer to the pencil sharpener, had a great view of the whole classroom, and she was in a good position to quickly get out of her classroom. Now you maybe think that this would be the perfect spot until she would be seat next to the guy she would have to do a project with, Issac Espiritu.

Aka the guy who she had been stuck with ever since 6th grade. They had almost all of the same classes together except she was taking home ec while he took robotics(tech apps). It's as if they had a lot of class together. A little too much if Leilani really asked herself and started to realize it. Although Leilani did have one particular question to herself that she never got answered.

'Why doesn't it bother me how much I see him? Why do I actually feel really happy to see him?'
