The honorable knight, Lancelot

"me?..king?-" the azure hedgehog asked the knight who was now kneeling Infront of him treating him like royalty, the knight nodded his head confirming that the azure hedgehog is the king from the world he came through

"I am your protector and humble servant, command me and l shall do it right away my king" both the hedgehogs stared at the knight with a puzzled expression on their faces, shadow thought this was a joke however, the ebony one crossed his arms doubting what the knight stated

"Are you really gonna believe this faker?" He spoke uninterested what the knight has said to sonic, it honestly made him more annoyed and irritated that he has to control himself from getting too violent over this stupid prank

"Ha? What? No- uh- l genuinely don't know- but he looks just like you to be just a joke" sonic answered still processing what is happening but then suddenly Lancelot stood up immediately and got Infront of sonic the moment he heard the insult from the other hedgehog, hiding him from behind his back then glaring furiously at the ebony hedgehog which got shadow surprised from his unexpected action

"My king, is this peasant bothering you?" Shadow growled hearing what the knight just called him, his hands slowly turning into a fists glaring back at the knight "what did you just say?" Shadow's eye twitched then grit his teeth angrily "you may look like me but l'm the better version of you" the ebony hedgehog said in a mocking manner with a smirk showing on his lips

"You seem confident of yourself after insulting the king and mocking me to prove you're worthy, how insolent, l would like to challenge you to a duel" the knight kept his glare on the ebony not liking how he lacks respect towards others, specially to the one who he calls his king, shadow's smirk begin to wide very much liking the idea of his other him declaring a duel between who's the better shadow

"A duel? Huh- now wait just a minute! Uh you shadow 1 and shadow 2" sonic immediately got in the middle of them pushing them apart separating them or things would get out of hand with two shadow's fighting together over some childish reasons "l'd better be the shadow 1" the ebony hedgehog spoke crossing his arms and keeping his glare on the knight not caring that sonic was in between them "as you wished my king, however l am not breaking my stance not until he is forgiven with his rude behavior towards you" the knight said also keeping his eye on shadow

"I forgive him! Is that okay now?" Sonic answered the knight's demands, the knight turn his eyes towards the azure one and smiled softly, his glare vanished into thin air in seconds once his eyes landed on the one who he calls king "all is well my king" the knight held Sonic's hand and lifted towards his lips kissing the back of his hand so gracefully and gently making sure he is comfortable with him doing it, sonic flinched from the gesture as he continues to watch getting flustered by the knight's unexpected actions

"W-Whoa th-" before sonic could pull his hand away from Lancelot, he could feel someone grabbing his other free hand pulling him away from the knight, hearing a growl he knew it was shadow he quickly turn his head to the ebony seeing the annoyed and angry expression showing on his face, he was clearly not liking what the knight did to his rival and it's getting him all possessive "stop being so damn disgusting" the ebony said in a sharp and firm tone giving clear signs to the knight to dare not touch him

'ugh great, two shadows in one world, how exciting' sonic thought to himself sarcastically with an unamused expression. Lancelot was not backing out either as he grab the hand back and both glared at each other intensely ready to fight while sonic just didn't care anymore

"Sonic! Shadow! I finally found you guys!" A cute kid like voice could be heard from the distance as the three of them looked up seeing the yellowed fox flying on the air using his two tails waving at them with a wide smile, Lancelot immediately grab his helmet and put it on before standing Infront of sonic once again ready to protect him at all cost "who are you and what do you want from the king?" The knight shouted at the fox slowly landing on the ground

"Tails! What's up!" The azure hedgehog said happily over the knight's shoulder patting his back giving him a sign that his friend is not a threat, the knight nodded and stepped aside for him to walk towards his friend, the ebony scoffed rolling his eyes in annoyance on how the knight look so obedient when it comes to sonic
