"l appreciate your concern, although l am more than happy to stay for a little longer, l guarantee my people will strike down whoever opened the portal and get me back home, what worries me most is our king's recklessness ways of doing so" Lancelot spoke interrupting the two as he walk down the stairs wearing his armored gauntlets and shoes

"That's why we need to at least try and open one so nothing will go wrong in both timelines" tails replied as he sighs in disappoinment, he was looking forward for a new experiment but he did his best convincing shadow

"It's alright little buddy maybe lance is right, his real king might be doing something right now to get lance back, if not then..." sonic leans and whispered something to tails before giving him a thumbs up

"Whoah-ho! Look at you lancy-hot! Lookin' as shadowy as ever!" Sonic spoke teasingly nudging the ebony's arm while winking at him, shadow rolled his eyes at the azure hedgehog's teasing, he was not amused by his behavior at all which makes him all more annoying. Lancelot smiled at his compliment and nodding his head in return

"Thank you my king, the armor is quite heavy so l often take if off particularly when there's no schedule of training" Lancelot happily stated

"Awww don't be so sad shads~ you're not the only emo hedgehog around anymore~ look at the bright side! At least you're not alone now except Lancelot is way more cooler than you~" sonic added with the same teasing tone making the ebony growl in anger before glaring at him deadly straight to the azure hedgehog's emerald eyes

Sonic quickly put his hands up nervously knowing what was going to happen to him if he talks any further "s-sorry-" but shadow wasn't taking any apologies so soon, sonic took a few steps back to only let shadow walk towards him growling at him with fire showing in his eyes

"Wait s-shads l was o-only joking around- "

"Create a better joke that will make me laugh than that piece of crap" shadow sternly said

Sonic kept walking backwards until he felt the wall on his back getting pinned by shadow leaving him with no escape to run away from the hedgehog Infront of him, the ebony place both his hands besides the azure hedgehog's sides growling at him intensely

"T-This position is weird don't you t-think?- you're too close for comfort here- why don't we talk this out huh? What do you say?" sonic stuttered his words with a nervous smile, a faint blush could be seen on his cheeks as he gaze at the ebony's ruby eyes gazing back at him making him gulp a lump in his throat

The ebony noticed his blush after observing his reaction the second as he pinned him on the wall, a smirk forms on his lips slowly leaning towards his ear whispering seductively, grabbing the opportunity to tease back

"I prefer this position on the bed..."

Before sonic could react he was pulled away by Lancelot hiding him behind his back shielding him from the ebony as he noticed what was happening between the two rivals

"Keep your hands off"

"Don't tell me what to do" shadow rolled his eyes at the knight before using his chaos emerald to teleport back in his office at G.U.N

"My Lord, are you-" the knight turn his head to check on the azure hedgehog but to only find him blushing and zoning out in shock "-alright?"

"Huh?...O-Oh uh- yeah!! I'm 100 percent alright! Uh- l need some fresh air-" he said before dashing out from the house

Sonic's POV
'no way, no way, no way!! There's no way he said that!' l ran as fast as l can on the streets with no specific destinations in my mind, what shadow said affected me more than l thought, l groan in annoyance but at the same time l was liking it! Everything feels warm and cold at the same time! This strange feeling disgust and embarrassed me!

"Did he mean me? No! He was only stating his opinion l mean there's no way he mean me right?-" I muttered to myself in confusion as l made my way in the forest dodging the trees that was in my way trying to calm down and process what shadow has said to me or is it really for me?

Making my way to the flower field where me and shadow met Lancelot l remembered shadow winning the race because l accidentally bump into Lancelot pretty hard that l fell over on him gaining his win, l sigh as l remember the deal too

"Well, l'll keep my mouth shut so he won't remember it, who knows what he'll make me do-" l muttered once again. I inhaled the cold air and breath it out finally getting my grip together after what had happened back at the house, shadow was acting stranger than usual...

As l was thinking to myself, the wind slowly starts picking up, leaves flying away from the trees one by one and flower petals getting plucked out and getting dragged in with the other leaves, l narrowed my eyes looking for the source of it since everything in the sky look normal and there were no news of strong winds today and there l saw it.

"Lancelot...bring me..my knight.."
