Returning the smile, Aisha nodded and replied, "Yes, I'll go see what he needs." She made her way to Rohan's room, her expression firm with anticipation.
Entering the room, Aisha asked sharply, "What happened? Why are you shouting my name?" Rohan, caught off guard by her directness, stuttered, "I... I... I..." A thought flashed through his mind: Why am I afraid of her angry look? I am Rohan Raichand; people fear me. Be confident.
Gathering his composure, Rohan asserted, "I want you to do your duty as a wife. Go and get my bath ready for shower, and make me a smoothie while I go for a jog." Aisha stood her ground, maintaining a small distance between them, and retorted firmly, "I've already told you, I'm not your servant."
Rohan advanced closer, causing Aisha to step back nervously until she hit a wall, trapped. Placing his hands on the wall around her, Rohan held her captive and insisted, "I'm not asking you to do this as a maid, but as my wife."
Aisha found her confidence and responded defiantly, "I never agreed to this before marriage. I already told you I'm not interested in marrying you, but you didn't listen. Now you have to deal with it."
Rohan leaned in, whispering in her ear, "You know, Miss Aisha Gerwal, I love challenges. One day, you'll do all these chores willingly as Mrs. Raichand." Pushing him away, Aisha shot back, "You know what, Mr. Rohan Raichand? I never back down from a challenge. Maybe in your dreams."
As Aisha turned to leave, Rohan quipped, "At least there's hope in dreams. And you know what? Sometimes dreams do come true." With that, he turned and headed for the shower, leaving Aisha frustrated and seething with annoyance.
fter a refreshing shower, Rohan headed out for his jog. Upon returning home, he made his way straight to the kitchen, calling out, "Maa, maa!" Mrs. Raichand and Aisha were already busy working together in the kitchen. Upon hearing Rohan's voice, Mrs. Raichand smiled and replied, "Yes beta, I'm here."
Rohan walked up and gave his mom a warm hug from behind, but Aisha continued her tasks, pointedly ignoring him. He glanced over at Aisha and then said to his mother, "Maa, I was thinking since Dad gave me a few days off from the office, why don't we all go for a picnic today?"
Mrs. Raichand thought it was a good idea but proposed, "That sounds lovely, beta, but I think you and Aisha should go and spend some alone time together." Aisha looked up, catching Rohan's smirk, and silently resolved, "I will not let you win, Mr. Raichand."
Aisha, catching his glance and his smirking expression, resolved silently, "I will not let you win, Mr. Raichand." Aloud, she replied to Mrs. Raichand, "Aunty, I would love to spend some time with you and Aarav too. It would help me get to know you both better. Please, aunty, I insist that you both come with us."
With a pleading look on her face, Aisha continued, "Won't you fulfill your lovely daughter's wish?"
Mrs. Raichand relented, "Okay, okay, don't make that face. Aarav and I will join you."
Rohan, visibly disappointed and furiously looking at Aisha, realized his plan had failed. Aisha met his gaze and thought to herself, "You can't play such tricks with me, Mr. Raichand." The tension between them simmered as plans for the picnic began to take shape, marking the next phase of their ongoing battle of wills.
Now, Aisha and Mrs. Raichand set the table for breakfast and called everyone to join. Aisha found herself seated next to Rohan. As they began eating, Rohan, always looking for ways to trouble her, asked, "Aisha, can you pass the tea?" The teapot was within Rohan's reach, but he wanted to test her patience.
Aisha glanced at him, knowing she couldn't make a scene in front of the family. Rohan added, "Is there any problem?" with a hint of mischief in his voice.
Aisha, masking her irritation, forced a smile and replied, "No, not at all," while passing the tea. Rohan accepted it with a cunning, victorious smile, enjoying his small triumph.
As everyone settled down for breakfast, Aisha decided to announce the picnic plan. "By the way, everyone, we're all going on a picnic today!" she said with a bright smile.
Aarav's face lit up with excitement. "A picnic? Seriously? That's awesome!" he exclaimed, looking at Aisha. "Where are we going? Is it the lakeside park? Oh, I hope it's the lakeside park. They have the best spots for cricket!"
Aisha laughed at Aarav's enthusiasm. "Yes, Aarav, we're going to the lakeside park. And we can definitely play cricket there."
Aarav could barely contain his excitement. "Yes! I've been wanting to go there for ages. Do you play cricket, Aisha? We should have a match! Rohan's not very good, so we'll definitely win," he said with a mischievous grin.
Aisha chuckled. "I do play a little. Sounds like a plan. Let's make sure to pack a cricket set."
Aarav nodded vigorously. "Done! This is going to be so much fun. Thanks for suggesting it, Aisha. You're the best!"
Rohan, watching the exchange with amusement, couldn't help but smile at Aarav's infectious excitement.
