Chapter 19

"THAK! THAK!" The sound of knocking interrupted Rohan and Aisha's conversation. Rohan got up and said, "Who is it? Come in."

It was Aarav. "Mom is calling you both for dinner."

Rohan replied, "Okay, we'll be there in five minutes."

Rohan and Aisha changed and went down for dinner. At the dinner table, everyone was chatting and giggling. Aarav leaned over to Aisha and whispered, "Aisha, I want to talk to you after dinner in the garden."

Aisha, smiling with a confused look, replied, "Okay, but about what?"

Aarav said, "I'll tell you there."

After dinner, everyone went to their rooms. Aisha went to the garden and sat on a bench, waiting for Aarav. He soon arrived.

"Hey, Aisha," Aarav greeted.

Aisha smiled, "Hmm, so tell me, what did you want to talk about?"

Aarav, rubbing his hand on his head shyly, said, "Um, that friend of yours in college... I have a crush on her."

Aisha's eyes widened. "Ohh, so Mr. Aarav wants me to help him?"

Aarav nodded, "Yes."

Aisha stood up with a smile, "I'll think about it," and started to leave. Then she stopped and added, "By the way, tomorrow is the weekend, and she's coming here in the noon to study with me."

Aarav's face lit up with excitement. As he stood there, happy and eager, Rohan noticed Aisha and Aarav talking in the garden. His jealousy flared up again as he wondered why they couldn't have their conversation in front of everyone.

Aisha returned to the room and saw Rohan sitting on the couch, lost in thought. She asked, "What are you thinking about?"

Rohan thought for a moment and then said, "Nothing," remembering his promise to give Aisha some space. As Aisha made the bed, Rohan grabbed his pillow and blanket to sleep on the couch.

Aisha stopped him and, with a smile, said, "You can sleep here."

Rohan replied, "No, not until you completely accept me as your husband," and went to sleep on the couch.

In the morning, Aisha was getting ready while Rohan had just woken up. As he opened his eyes, he saw Aisha in the mirror, meticulously fixing her hair. He couldn't help but stare at her. Aisha noticed his gaze through the mirror and smiled. Rohan, caught in the act, quickly looked around and then got up to go for a shower.

While he was in the shower, Aisha took out clothes for him and began setting the bed and tidying up the room. When Rohan came out of the shower, he saw the outfit she had chosen for him neatly laid out. Surprised, he looked at her.

Aisha said, "Today, I chose your clothes. I want to take you somewhere after breakfast."

Rohan, with a confused look, asked, "Where?"

Aisha replied with a playful smile, "Just come with me, and I'll drive."

Rohan, shocked, asked, "You know how to drive?"

Aisha replied confidently, "You will see," and then went downstairs.

Rohan, rubbing the back of his head, muttered to himself, "Mrs. Raichand, you surprise me every time."
