The next morning, Aisha woke up feeling a sense of contentment she hadn't felt in a long time. She turned to see Rohan still asleep beside her, looking peaceful and calm. She smiled, her heart warming at the sight. Careful not to wake him, Aisha slipped out of bed and went to take a shower. When she came back and was getting ready, Rohan woke up and saw her.

"I must be a lucky man," he said, his voice thick with sleep.

Aisha looked at him through the mirror, raising an eyebrow. "And why's that?"

"Because I got the most beautiful wife," Rohan replied with a grin.

Aisha rolled her eyes, a playful smile tugging at her lips. "Didn't I use to be an ugly duckling you had to marry?"

Rohan's expression softened, realizing she remembered his teasing from before their marriage. He got out of bed and walked over to her, wrapping his arms around her from behind. "Umm, okay, I guess it's time for a confession. I actually started liking you the first time I saw you, when you called me to meet. From that moment, I decided that no matter what, I would marry you. I called you an ugly duckling because I didn't want you to know how I felt; I wasn't even sure myself. But beautiful or ugly duckling, you're mine and only mine, Mrs. Rohan Raichand. So don't even dare to think about anyone else."

Aisha turned towards him, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "Umm, we'll see about that. Now go and get ready; we have to go for breakfast."

Rohan looked at her, a playful glint in his eye. "We'll see, huh? Okay then, you will see what I'll do to anyone who dares to come close to you."

Aisha laughed. "Oh, so you're blackmailing me now?"

"Think whatever you want," Rohan said with a smirk. "But no other guy can come close to you except me." He then went for his shower, leaving Aisha smiling at his words.

As she finished getting ready, Aisha thought about how much things had changed between them. There was a time when she couldn't imagine feeling this way about Rohan, but now she couldn't imagine her life without him. She smiled, knowing they had a long way to go, but also knowing they were on the right path.

Rohan came out of the shower, and after getting ready, he headed downstairs for breakfast. Aisha was already in the kitchen, helping Mrs. Raichand set the table. Rohan entered and greeted, "Good morning, everyone."

"Good morning," Mr. Raichand replied.

As they all chatted, Aarav suddenly mentioned, "Aisha, I'll come to drop you off at college today."

Rohan shot Aarav a furious look and said, "No thanks, Aarav. I can do that for my wife."

Aisha looked at Rohan, smiled, and said, "It's okay, Aarav. You can come with us."

Rohan whispered to Aisha, "Why do you want a third wheel?"

Aisha whispered back, "Don't you get it? He wants to come because of Meera."

Rohan realized, "Oh, yeah."

They left to drop Aisha at her college. It turned out to be a bad day for Aarav, as he didn't get a chance to see Meera.

After a long day, Rohan came to pick Aisha up from college. He saw Aisha coming out of the building with a guy and immediately felt a pang of jealousy. As they reached Rohan, he gave Aisha a questioning look.

Aisha quickly introduced, "Oh, sorry, I forgot to introduce you. This is Abhay, my new friend. Abhay, this is Rohan—"

Before she could finish, Rohan interrupted, "Her husband," and grabbed Aisha by the waist.

Aisha smiled at Abhay and said, "Okay, bye. See you tomorrow, Abhay."

Abhay replied, "Bye, Aisha. Nice to meet you too, Rohan."

They got into the car, and as they started driving, Aisha noticed Rohan's anger. She asked, "Umm, what happened?"

Rohan looked at her furiously. "Don't you know?"

Aisha smiled at his expression and said, "Oh, okay. Then I guess I should lower the temperature of the AC because it's getting too hot in here."

Rohan suddenly stopped the car, removed his seatbelt, and moved closer to Aisha. "Do you think it's funny?"

Aisha leaned in and kissed him suddenly. Rohan, caught off guard, continued the kiss passionately. After the kiss, he went back to his seat, slightly calmed.

Aisha said, "You know I'm married to you, right? I can't think of any other man. He's just a friend."

Rohan replied, "Yeah, but he was too close to you."

Aisha giggled and said, "Don't your female colleagues come close to you while working? Take it that way."

Rohan sighed. "Hmm, I understand. I should trust you, no matter what."

Aisha smiled and kissed him on the cheek. "That's my husband. Now, let's go."

They drove home, feeling closer than ever.
