ZAHRA NICHOLS

The morning sun filtered through the hotel curtains, and blinded my eyes until I woke. My phone buzzed and I grabbed it, blinking away what was left of my sleep. A message from Anderson popped up on the screen.

ANDERSON: The "Australia Tour" promo video with Oscar Piastri is already up. Great job!

I smiled, a small sense of accomplishment warming me up. I quickly sent a thumbs-up emoji in response, then stretched and got out of bed.

As I walked through the bustling hotel lobby, my mind already on the day's tasks, I scrolled through my phone on today's schedule and assignments. That was when I accidentally bumped into someone. I looked up to see a strikingly beautiful woman with an apologetic smile on her face.

"Sorry!" we both exclaimed at the same time. That's when I saw her face, and we made eye contact. I had just bumped into Francesca Chastain, Charles' girlfriend. She looked me straight in the eye.

She had a slight French accent. "Your makeup is flawless," she said, her eyes sparkling with admiration.

I blinked, momentarily taken aback. "Oh, thank you! Yours is too," I responded, returning her smile. "And your eyeliner is so precise. Do you use a gel or a liquid liner?"

"Liquid, definitely. It gives a sharper line. This one is from Lancôme. Their applicator is fantastic," she shared.

"I can see that! It looks amazing. I've been struggling to find a good liquid liner. Maybe Lancôme is the answer," I said, making a mental note.

We both laughed, the conversation flowing naturally.

"And your lipstick, it's such a lovely shade. What is it?" she asked, genuinely interested.

"It's actually a mix of two shades from Fenty Beauty. I find layering gives a better color," I replied.

"That's brilliant. I'll have to try that. I usually just stick to one shade, but I should try experimenting," Francesca said.

"By the way, I love your dress, it's stunning! You have a great sense of style." I said, pointing to her sleeveless white linen midi dress she had on.

"Oh, thank you! It's from a little boutique in Paris. They have the most unique pieces," she said, her face brightening at the compliment.

"I'll have to visit next time I'm there," I replied, excited at the idea.

"We should go together! I'd love to show you around," Francesca suggested.

"I'd love that," I said, touched by her friendliness.

"Hold on, we've already made these plans and I hardly know your name. I'm Zahra, by the way."

"Francesca," she replied, extending her hand with a warm smile. "It's lovely to meet you."

"Likewise," I said, shaking her hand gently. "Are you here for the race?"

"Yes, supporting Charles," she said, her face lighting up at the mention of his name. "And you?"
