INTERVIEWER: Take a moment to remember everything you've did in your career as a F1 reporter. What was your favorite thing of all time that you did because of your job?

ZAHRA: Easy answer. Monaco 2023, the promo video where I went on a Monaco tour with Charles.

After the race in Imola, our team didn't waste any time. We were heading straight to the airport to catch our flight to Monaco. At the airport, I was hoping for a moment to breathe, but Anderson had other plans. He gathered the team, serious as always.

"Alright, everyone. You'll each be assigned a team to cover for the weekend," Anderson began, glancing down at his clipboard with a frown that seemed permanently displayed on his face. His voice caught everyone's attention. "Walsh: Mercedes. Parker: Alpine. Cox: McLaren. Nguyen: Aston Martin. Nichols: Ferrari. Hansen: RedBull."

I raised an eyebrow, taken aback. If anything I found it amusing. "I thought you said it was best if I didn't work with Leclerc for a while. Being at Ferrari, isn't Leclerc implied?"

Anderson didn't miss a beat, his eyes meeting mine with a challenging gaze. "A good reporter adapts to the situation given."

I bit back my response and nodded, accepting the assignment and chuckling to myself.

I slept for most of the flight. Keir and I ended up with connecting rooms at the hotel, which was a blessing and a curse. The moment we checked in, we got emailed a list from Anderson of the stuff we'd be covering. The hotel room was sleek, with a view of the sparkling Mediterranean Sea, but I barely noticed as I skimmed through the itinerary.

Keir's schedule was packed. Mercedes had a ton of events planned, and he'd be doing all sorts of fun stuff with the drivers—meet-and-greets, social media, and interactive fan experiences. I could already picture him decked out in Tommy Hilfiger.

As for me, my tasks were a bit lighter. One of my assignments was an unserious interview where I'd test if the Ferrari drivers were "smarter than a 7th grader." It seemed like a fun and light-hearted segment that would be a nice change of pace. And then there was the big one: a Monaco tour with Charles, cruising around the city in a Ferrari, a special for his home race.

The morning sun in Monaco was different—brighter, as if the city itself was electric. As I stood in front of my hotel mirror, adjusting my hair and checking my outfit for the hundredth time, I couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and nervousness. I'd be filming the Monaco tour today.

A car pulled up outside the hotel to take me to the filming location. The drive through the narrow streets of Monaco gave me a preview of the scenes we'd be showcasing. My mind was swirling with thoughts of how the day would unfold, the questions I'd ask, the places we'd visit.
