A/N: Hey lovelies, thank you for all your lovely messages.
It warmed my heart and really helped me a lot.
The situation is still terrible, but each and every one of you makes it more bearable.
Your passion and love for my stories has given me the courage to believe in myself a little more again.❤️
And that's why I've decided to post the chapters that are already finished bit by bit and then maybe I'll be able to continue writing.
I'm hugging you all from afar and sending you lots of love xxx

🫶thank you all for your support🫶

Emily's POV

"And what happens now?" Y/N asks, her gaze wandering nervously from JJ to Penelope and then stopping at me.
She wrings her hands and rocks back and forth on the balls of her feet, as she always does when she feels uncomfortable.

"The ad has been deleted and we have officially reported Katy.
Katy will probably get a visit from the police now. And if everything goes well, she will be arrested and questioned."
JJ explains in a gentle voice while stroking
Y/N's arm.

"And if it doesn't go well?" She replies quietly and a shadow falls over her face.

We are all silent for a moment.

Each of us knows how high the chance is that Katy will get away with it.
Such accusations are difficult to prove as long as the victim is still...
it's usually one person's word against another's and the danger for the victim is often greatest after the report is made.

Y/N knows that too.

And we can all only guess how dangerous Katy will be when she finds out about the report.
But because of the photos and the attempt to sell Y/N's Body, the chances are not bad.
This is evidence of a crime that Katy cannot simply play down.

"We'll think about that when the time comes." I say firmly and take a few steps towards Y/N.
I put a hand on her chin, lift it with my fingers so that she looks at me.
"and until then we'll think positive.
And we'll make sure nothing happens to you, sweetheart."
I promise her quietly and I can see in her eyes that she would like to believe me.

"How about you spend the day here with us today? We're only dealing with paperwork anyway, so a charming companion can't hurt." JJ suggests to distract our thoughts from the possible negative consequences.

She wraps her arms around Y/N's shoulders and lays her head on her shoulder.
Y/N giggles quietly and her eyes flash with the joy of life that I love so much.
"And where would you like to get a charming companion? I don't think I'm the best choice." She asks with a grin and rests her head against JJ's while looking at me.
JJ playfully nudges her in the side while I tap Y/N's nose, which curls up like it always does when she laughs.

That's so cute.

The day was uneventful.
Y/N switched between JJ's and my desk and helped us with the boring work.
In between she made coffee or told us jokes when our mood was at rock bottom.
Spencer tried to impress her with interesting facts about serial killers, but underestimated how much Y/N's knowledge is in this field.
Apparently she has read every book on the subject, which left Spencer quite impressed.

"You could almost start working for us, with that knowledge." JJ says with a proud undertone and links arms with Y/N on the way to the elevator.
"If that means I'll keep seeing you every day, then I totally would." Y/N replies with a sweet smile and links her arm with mine.
I blush slightly.
JJ is also flattered by the statement, I can tell by the way she tucks her lock of hair behind her ear and looks slightly at the ground.
