Y/N's POV

I slowly wake up, blink several times and look up at the ceiling as I get used to the Feeling of being awake again.

It feels like I've been sleeping for days.

I slowly roll over to the side, fold my hands under my head and look around the room.

I'm in the guest room.
With Emily and JJ.
They didn't throw me out.

The dark green curtains are drawn, but golden morning light shines into the room through a crack.

The bedclothes feel soft and silky under my skin and as I bury my nose in them, the familiar scent of the detergent that Emily and JJ use envelops me.

I'm home.

There's a glass of water on the bedside table, next to the picture of me as a child.

I stretch out a hand, gently stroke the cat in the picture, a smile on my lips.

Someone has replaced the glass of the picture frame, it's intact again.

I slowly sit up and groan briefly as my side starts to sting at the sudden movement.
I bend forward, breathe against the pain until the stinging sensation throbs gently and then sit up more carefully.

I wipe my face a few times with my hands, run my hands through my hair and slowly the images from last night come back.

Katy. Oh God.
I knocked her out.
She had a knife.
Where is she now?

I raise a hand to my lips and stroke the spot that both Emily and JJ kissed yesterday.

They both kissed me.
Me.
Oh God.
And JJ saw me on that roof, in Katy's arms.
Heard that I wanted Katy.
Does she know that I didn't mean it?
I have to talk to her.

I turn to the side with a sigh, push back the covers and shudder a little as I exchange the warmth of the bed for the cold floor beneath my feet.

I slowly get up, hold on to the bedside table for a moment while stars dance before my eyes and my vision blurs.

After a few slow, deliberate breaths, I feel a little safer.

I take a few wobbly steps through the room, my whole body pulling and throbbing with every jolt of my steps.

I open the door and waddle into the hallway.
I hear soft music and JJ and Emily's voices from the living room and the smell of coffee fills the air.

A smile plays on my lips at these familiar sounds.

I scurry into the bathroom.
There I comb my hair, brush my teeth and pinch my cheeks a few times so I don't look quite so pale.
I look at my reflection in the mirror for a moment, take a deep breath and leave the bathroom.

My heart is pounding in my throat as I walk towards the living area.

I don't know what to expect.
I don't know how to behave.
We kissed and didn't talk about it again.
I'm nervous.

I stand in the doorway for a moment and look around.

On the kitchen island is a plate of cut fruit and next to it a plate of pancakes.

Emily is leaning back against the kitchen island, her hands wrapped around a steaming mug of coffee.
S

he's wearing a red tank top and plaid pajama shorts, and her hair is hanging loosely over her shoulders.
Her gaze rests on JJ, who is sitting on one of the bar stools.
She's wearing a matching pajama set of shirt and pants with small flowers on it, and her hair is tied in a loose braid.
She's telling Emily something, her eyes resting on her girlfriend while she talks with her hands.
