He was about to take a quick break for a latte and a textfest with Richard at a nearby coffee shop when suddenly Lonnie Hawkins appeared behind him.
Lonnie was too close and to Nigel's alarm there was something poking in his side. As he looked down his heart quickened to see it was a gun.
He opened his mouth to scream and alert someone, anyone, to help him but Lonnie leaned forward and whispered in his ear," Say one word and your daddy will be a widower before he is a groom. Because, mate , I will shoot you dead. "
Nigel wanted to run. Fight. Anything. But he knew this man too well. Lonnie would shoot him in the back without even flinching. What did he want now? He thought that they had seen the last of him. Why was this happening to him?
Lonnie ordered roughly," Keep walking. Act normal. You're coming with me. Don't worry. "
He smiled at Nigel coldly.
