ODDS OF LOVE : SEASON SIX

Episode 14

" Rebecca, Where are you! "

" Nigel ! Come back! "

" Dad ! I need you! Don't leave me! "

" Spencer! Where are you! "

He heard his dead ex wife laughing as she said," Oh poor poor Richard. But at least you still have your money. And your precious job."

" No ! ," Richard screamed as he sat up abruptly in his bed with sweat glistening off his face, his eyes wide with terror.

Nigel blinked his eye open groggily as he too slowly sat up in bed and looked at his fiance who even to his sleepy mind seemed scared. " Richard. Are you all right? What happened? Did you have a nightmare, baby? "

Richard didn't answer him. Except for a tight hug before he jumped out of bed in his blue and white checked pajamas. He then raced from their bedroom down the hallway to his daughter's bedroom.

He jerked open the door and rushed in . His heart was pounding rapidly in his chest as he stared down at her sleeping face.

Thank God.

She was still here.

Nigel was still here.

His family......

He closed his eyes and put his shaking hands over his face. 

What would he do if he lost them ?

The tall muscled young Black man in the tight black tee shirt and saggy blue denim jeans with the rips in the knees smiled as he examined the bright red words he had just sprayed on the front door of DuBuis Lane.

It said big and bold " For Faith Lane ".

Then his gloved hand dropped the can into the tall black trash can on a far corner of the porch.

And his other removed a black gun from his ankle holster.

He smiled as he aimed it at the large picture window and fired it twice , spraying sharp shards of glass every which way.

As lights came on inside the upstairs of the house and several neighbors' houses including the one next door the young man ran down the front steps and the walkway. He jumped in his black SUV with the dark tinted windows and sped off in the early morning hour.
