28| Betrayal

It had been a few weeks since Draco and I had sex in his dorm. My legs hurt slightly but I was just overall a bit sore.

I didn't have as much energy as I used to and I had thrown up after meals, mostly breakfast, a few times.

I didn't tell anyone because I didn't want them to worry about me right now. We had bigger issues.

I also wasn't that worried because I briefly remembered feeling this way the last time we did it.

On a happier note, I could sense that Harry was almost back. I had gotten a vision the other day of him retrieving the sword of Gryffindor. I don't know why he had it but it must be important.

It was nighttime and Draco was supposed to be in my dorm any second. Avery said it was fine for him to sleep over tonight as long as there was no sex.

That was reasonable.

There was a knock at the door so I opened it quickly expecting Draco. Instead, I saw Professor Snape. Oh right. Headmaster Snape.

"Expecting someone else Miss Potter?" He asked walking into my room.

"No headmaster." I lowered my gaze.

"I know you have been leaving your room at night and I know that one of my guards were killed. Know anything about that?" He cocked his head to the side waiting for my response.

I just shook my head now slightly trembling. If he found out everything would go to shit and Draco would be killed.

"Very well. Goodnight Miss Potter. Miss Moore." He swished his cape and walked out.

I looked to see if Avery was alright but she was shaking and her eyes were glassy.

"Avery what's wrong?" I ran over to hug her as she collapsed in my arms.

"I'm scared Natalie." She cried.

"I know. I know. You're ok though. Shh. You're alright. I got you." I had calmed her down when I heard someone enter the room and close the door behind them.

I whipped my head around to see Draco. "There you are!" I smiled but didn't let go of Avery.

"I heard what happened with Snape." He told me.

"Great." I sighed deeply.

"It's ok. I don't know if he believed you but he left so that's the important thing." Draco sat down next to Avery and I until she had calmed down.

I suddenly felt very nauseous again so I ran over to the bathroom and threw up in the toilet.

Avery came up behind me and held my hair back as I finished coughing things up in the toilet. I flushed it and got up to wash my mouth out with water and mouthwash.

"Nat are you okay?" Draco cupped my face.

I nodded. "This has been happening for a few weeks now. It could be my nerves."

"I don't think so." He shook his head.

"You don't think I'm..."

"I think you should test. Here." He swished his wand and handed me a pregnancy test.

I sighed staring at it. "I can't be." I freaked out.

"Hey we don't even know anything for sure yet. Go take it and then see what happens."

"Ok." I nodded and walked back into the bathroom.

I heard him and Avery talking a little bit. I ignored them and watched the test for two minutes after I peed on it.
