Today was the day the twins would go off to Hogwarts. September 1st 2017.
Harry's kid, Albus was also going to be attending with Jade and Scorpius as well as Rose, Ron and Hermione's daughter.
We all met up before the train left and made sure our kids were fully prepared.
I heard Albus worrying about being put in Slytherin and Harry reassured him and gave him examples of great Slytherins like Draco.
"Mum?" Jade got my attention.
"What is it?" I asked bending down to her level.
"What if I get homesick?" She asked me.
"You won't. But if you do, you can write to us and talk to your cousins and brother. They will help you. And if you get into trouble the way Jasmine did, I'll make sure you don't get kicked out of school but I will be mad. I love you." I kissed her forehead.
"I want to be like Jasmine!" She beamed.
"No you do not." Draco came up behind us bending down with Scorpius next to him. "Remember, if anyone stares at you or is mean, you tell James like Uncle Harry said to. They won't mess with you again."
"Alright." Scorpius said right before the train whistled letting us know we only had a few minutes more before it took off.
"You guys had best get going." Hermione came over urging the kids to go get seated.
"Alright!" Rose hugged her mother and father happily before coming over to us. "Goodbye Auntie Nat and Uncle Draco!" We got hugs before she said bye to Harry and Ginny.
The kids loaded themselves onto the train and sat by a window looking right at us. We waved as the train took off and they left.
I looked around to see a lot of people we went to school with. There was Slate with Amber who we had kept contact with after Draco's Christmas party years ago.
I kept letting my eyes wander until they fell on someone I never thought I would see again.
She was with someone I didn't recognize but they were definitely together.
Avery caught me staring and looked surprised to see me.
I gave her a nod to let her know I had forgiven her and that I'm no longer holding a grudge against her.
She smiled back acknowledging the past we had and agreeing to drop grudges. No words had to be said between us because we knew all was forgiven.
I leant on Draco's shoulder thinking about what Avery has been doing these past 19 years I haven't seen her and I have no idea what she's been up to.
"I need a drink." Draco said once the train was out of view.
"And some good food." Ron agreed.
"I know a spot." I smirked at them. "Anyone want to go to the Three Broomsticks?"
"Yes!" Hermione said excitedly and put her hand out.
"We're in." Ginny said motioning to herself and Harry.
"Everyone grab on." Harry took Hermione's hand and we all held onto each other as we aparated to the restaurant.
We got in and sat down letting out a big sigh. "I hope they are alright." I said sipping on my butter beer.
"They're with their family. I'm sure it will be fine." Harry comforted me.
"But look at what Jasmine used to do in school. It just makes me worry. I can't have any more of my children causing problems at Hogwarts." I chuckled slightly.
