A/N - A time skip was always intended for this book. Originally, I was going to write the World Cup and then do the time skip. But I'm doing it earlier. Hope you enjoy. Remember, not long left!

I have also come to the conclusion that there won't be a third book. Ultimately, I feel like i've given everything to both of these books and I don't want to drag it on further than it needs to.

Throughout the two books, we have always been behind real life time. Now we're going ahead, four years ahead. Obviously I'm not a time traveller and I have no idea how future football tournaments are going to go, so please just go with it.

We're also going to ignore that Lucy has moved to Chelsea because wtf

4 years later...

Rosie's POV:

A familiar arm was placed around my shoulders, "I don't want you to go". Looking into her eyes, I gave a warm smile, "I know...I'll come and visit, and you're always welcome. Anytime mum". I could see the tears building up behind her emotional eyes - she's cried 4 times in the space of an hour. Probably over 100 times since yesterday.

Keira entered the room, "That's the last box Rosie". Nodding my head towards her, I offered, "Stay for dinner? We can order a Pizza...or Chinese?". Both of my mums nodded, not daring to say any words. Instead, the happily married couple swallowed that dreaded lump in their throats.

Inhaling a deep breath of the air in my new surroundings, I spoke with a steady voice, "One last season...together. And after that...we'll figure it out. But for now, I want my sixth Champion's League trophy". They both laughed lightly, trying to inject some humour into the depressing atmosphere.

One more season together was the hardest thing I had to come to terms with over the summer. Within the family, everything was planned out. Lucy had completed football and was ready to watch on the sidelines. Over the summer, at the World Cup in Brazil, she had accomplished her bucket list. The one thing she wanted - a world cup. Me and Keira had been there beside her, all achieving it together. After falling short in the 2025 Switzerland Euros to France, Lucy was even more determined to get that world cup. It meant everything to her. She would be retiring at the end of the 27/28 season. No one knew, except for me and Keira.

I had one year left on my contract. To me, it felt like I had completed Barcelona - despite only being 21. I had won everything that was up for offer. This last season is almost like a goodbye season, except only me, Lucy and Keira know. Multiple clubs in England, the rest of Europe and beyond had shown interest for the previous 3 years. Each year, I would decline, telling them I wanted to stay with my family and play for Barcelona. Now, I'm ready to explore my options. One club in particular have given me an offer I cannot refuse. Everything is confirmed, except my signature on that dotted line. I still have this season to ensure i'm certain, but for me, the decision has already been made in my head and heart. I know what i'm doing. All I have to do is focus on giving everything to Barcelona for one final season.

The front door opened, showcasing my beautiful girlfriend. She wore a frustrated look on her face, "The bed company say there's no way they can deliver our bed before tomorrow". As she pulled me in for a side hug, I placed a light kiss in her hair, "We can sleep in the bath, it's big enough...". My girlfriend rolled her eyes with a playful smile on her face, "No...I went to the shops and bought one of those blow up mattresses. I have no idea how it works though". I laughed, "We'll figure it out later...for now, Chinese or Italian?". A wide smile crept up on her face as she sat herself down on our lonely sofa in the middle of the room, "Chinese, do you want me to go collect it?". Shaking my head, I reached out my hand to grip hers, and told her, "I think you've done enough today...let me deal with it". She frowned, "Rosie...". Mimicking her tone, I said back, "Georgia...". Looking up at my mums, I told them, "Sit, make yourselves at home. I'll be back in 20".
