Y/N: How did you see all that?

I grab my own shot of soju and down it, then quickly pour myself another glass. I might need it at the rate this conversation is going.

Akali: I was on my way to that old training facility. I like going there since I don't need all that flashy hi-tech stuff. I guess I should say I liked training there thanks to you three. Anyway, then I spotted you, Evelynn, and Ahri go in before I could.

She takes another shot like it's nothing to her. I followed up with another shortly afterward. When is the food gonna get here?

Akali: I've never seen anyone else go in there, so I wanted to see what you guys were up to. And, man, I was not expecting what I saw. I mean, you and Evelynn nearly fucking killed each other.

Y/N: Definitely, not our best moment.

Akali: Yeah, no kidding. If Ahri hadn't saved your asses, you two would be dead. Or, if you guys got caught by a headmaster, you'd for sure be expelled or something.

I reach again for the bottle and pour my third shot. Maybe it's my fourth? Thank fuck for my fast metabolism, otherwise I might already be wasted. To her credit, Akali is keeping up with no problem.

Y/N: Like I said, not our best moment. Where were you though? I never spotted you and as far as I know, neither did the other two.

Akali: I was trained as an a- I was trained very well.

She was clearly going to say something different, but if she doesn't want to talk about it then I'm not going to ask. What's strange though, is that when I went to sense Evelynn's bioelectrical signature during our fight, I didn't pick up on hers. I was able to track Ahri's all the way on the sidelines, so why not hers? Was she just out of my range?

The food finally arrives and the waiter sets our bowls of spicy garlic ramen in front of us. They then glance down at the nearly empty soju bottle. I can tell they are slightly surprised at how fast we've gone through it, but they put on a polite smile and ask if we would like another. Akali bats her eyelashes and flashes her kindest smile at the waiter.

Akali: Yes please, my honey and I would love one.

The waiter nods and goes to get us another bottle

Y/N: "Honey" is the best you could come up with?

Akali: Save your criticism for later. You'll thank me later when the check comes.

I roll my eyes while giving a light chuckle. Then I begin digging into the ramen like it's the first meal I've had in months. To my surprise, Akali is wolfing down her bowl just as fast as I am. When she finishes with the food she currently has in her mouth, she looks back up at me.

Akali: So, which girl is it? The one that nearly ended your life, or the one that saved it?

Y/N: Believe it or not, the one I nearly fought to the death with.

Akali: Then Evelynn, why am I not surprised? Never pegged you for the masochistic type though. Guess you can't judge a book by its cover, huh?

Y/N: I am not a masochist! There's just something about her that I'm drawn to. Like the way she-

Akali: Save it dude, I don't need to hear about how you two fell in love or whatever.

She returns her attention to her ramen, now almost finished. Too stunned by her bluntness, I continue eating when the waiter returns with our second bottle. I waste no time in pouring myself another shot.

We spend the rest of our time drinking and eating our food in relevant silence. When we've run through our second bottle, our check is left on the table. Before I could reach for it, Akali grabs it and checks the total. She gets a smug look on her face, then turns it over to me, pointing at the final amount.
