She paused, her gaze shifting back to Jin, a tender smile tugging at the corners of her lips.

"Jin, I... I would be honored if you would consider becoming my Yn's husband."

The room fell silent, the weight of the older woman's words hanging in the air. Jin felt his heart skip a beat, his eyes widening with a mix of surprise and shock.

"Mrs. Min, I... I don't know what to say."

Yn, too, was rendered speechless, her expression a blend of shock and uncertainty. She glanced at Jin, her own emotions a turbulent storm of conflicting feelings.

She couldn't do this to jin, he has just faced a heartbreak few months back and this, it will make him more Vulnerable. But she didn't have any options either. As much as she didn't wanted that, she couldn't help but worry about her Grandmother's condition.

The Kim and Min elders exchanged weighted looks, their expressions softening with a mixture of understanding and approval.

Mr. Kim cleared his throat, his gaze shifting between Jin and Yn.

"Jin, Yn, we've known for some time how much you care for each other. And Mrs. Min's request, while unexpected, is not an unreasonable one. You two have a deep and meaningful bond, and we believe that you could build a wonderful life together."

Hana stepped forward, her eyes filled with empathy and kindness.

"Yn, Jin, we know this is a lot to take in, but please know that we're here for you, no matter what you decide. Your happiness and well-being are what's most important to us."

Yn felt her heart racing, her mind a whirlwind of conflicting emotions. She had always been content with the idea of remaining single, her focus centered on her career and her beloved grandmother. The thought of marriage had never truly crossed her mind, and now, with her grandmother's fragile condition, it felt like an impossible weight to bear.

She turned to Jin, her gaze searching his face for any sign of his own thoughts and feelings. Jin, too, seemed overwhelmed, his expression a mix of uncertainty and a glimmer of something else – something that Yn couldn't quite place.

The older woman's grip on Yn's hand tightened ever so slightly, drawing her attention back to the woman who had been the bedrock of her life.

"Yn, my dear, I know this is a lot to ask of you. But I want nothing more than to see you happy, truly happy, before I... before I go."

Yn felt the tears she had been holding back finally spill over, cascading down her cheeks in a torrent of emotion.

"Grandma, I... I don't know what to say. I love you, more than anything, and the thought of losing you is..." Her voice trailed off, a sob escaping her lips.

The older woman reached up, gently wiping away Yn's tears with a trembling hand.

"My darling, I know. But please, consider Jin's proposal. He is a good man, and I know he would take care of you, in ways that I cannot."

Jin felt a surge of conflicting emotions as Mrs. Min's words hung in the air. On one hand, he was deeply honored that she would entrust him with the care of her beloved granddaughter. Yn had been his closest friend for years, and the thought of spending the rest of his life by her side was not an unpleasant one.

However, the suddenness of the proposal weighed heavily on his mind. Jin had only recently begun to heal from the heartbreak of his previous relationship, and the idea of committing to a marriage, even one born of deep friendship and care, felt like a daunting prospect.

He turned to Yn, his eyes filled with a mixture of empathy and uncertainty. "Yn, I... I don't know what to say. This is all so unexpected, and I want you to know that I would never want to impose on you or your family during this difficult time."

Yn reached out, grasping Jin's hand in hers. "Jin, I know. And I can't imagine how overwhelming this must be for you. But I... I don't know what to do. Grandma's health is so fragile, and I want nothing more than to see her happy and at peace."

The older woman's gaze shifted between the two young people, her expression filled with a gentle understanding. "Yn, Jin, I know this is a lot to ask of you. But I truly believe that you two would be wonderful together. And Jin, my dear boy, I know that you have the strength and the heart to care for my Yn in the way that she deserves."

Jin felt a lump form in his throat, his eyes stinging with unshed tears. "Mrs. Lee, I... I don't know what to say. Yn is the most important person in my life, and the thought of losing you, of not being able to be there for her, it..." He paused, taking a deep, shaky breath. "I will do whatever it takes to make you and Yn happy, even if that means becoming her husband."

Yn felt her heart swell with a mix of gratitude and trepidation. She knew that Jin was making this sacrifice for her, for the sake of her grandmother's peace of mind, and the thought of putting him through such a monumental decision weighed heavily on her.

"Jin, are you sure?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper. "I don't want you to feel obligated, or like you're being forced into something you're not ready for."

Jin turned to her, his gaze filled with a quiet resolve. "Yn, I've never been more certain of anything in my life. You're my best friend, and the thought of losing you is... it's unthinkable. If this is what it takes to ensure your happiness and your grandmother's peace of mind, then I'm willing to do it."

Yn felt the tears begin to flow freely once again, and she pulled Jin into a tight embrace, her heart swelling with a mix of gratitude and guilt. "Jin, I... I don't know how to thank you. You've always been there for me, and now you're willing to do this, even though I know it must be so hard for you."

Jin held her close, his own eyes glistening with unshed tears. "Yn, you've done so much for me, and this is the least I can do. I want you to be happy, and I want your grandmother to know that you'll be taken care of, no matter what."

The others in the room looked on, their expressions a mix of surprise, relief, and admiration. Yoongi stepped forward, placing a hand on Jin's shoulder.

"Jin hyung, I don't know what to say. You're truly one of the most amazing people I know, and I'm grateful that you're willing to do this for my sister."

Hana moved to Yn's side, wrapping her in a comforting embrace. "Yn, I'm so sorry you're going through this, but I'm so glad to have you as my sister-in-law. We're all here for you, no matter what."

The Kim and Min elders exchanged a series of nods and approving murmurs, their expressions filled with a sense of relief and contentment.

"Well, then, it's settled," Mrs. Min said, her voice filled with a quiet joy. "Jin, Yn, I am honored to have you both as my family."

As the group left the hospital, the weight of the decision they had just made hung heavy in the air. Jin and Yn walked side by side, their hands intertwined, but their expressions were tinged with a sense of uncertainty and unease.
