The room was bathed in a cold, intimidating silence as the investor struggled to keep his composure. His voice faltered as he spoke, “Why do you think we should invest in your company? Are you sure you will be able to meet our expectations?”

He asked, but the fear was palpable in his trembling tone. Across from him, Vidyut Singh Rathore sat with the air of a ruler surveying his kingdom. The piercing gaze from his dark eyes felt like a blade, cutting through the man’s composure with each second.

Vidyut’s voice was calm, but the coldness in his words could freeze oceans. “Who am I, Mr. Khanna?”

The man visibly swallowed, stammering, “M-Mr. Vidyut Singh Rathore…”

Vidyut tilted his head slightly, a dark smirk curling on his lips. “Correction, Mr. Khanna,” he said, leaning forward just enough to make his presence even more suffocating. “The world's second topmost business tycoon. A self-made billionaire. Vidyut Ekansh Singh Rathore. And Vidyut Rathore never listens to anyone. Dare to cross my path, and you will regret your very existence.”

The weight of his words sent an icy chill down Mr. Khanna’s spine. His face paled. He wasn’t in a meeting with a businessman—he was in the den of a lion, and one wrong move could cost him everything.

“I—I’m s-sorry, Mr. Rathore,” Khanna stuttered, hands shaking as he gripped the documents. “Please… don’t do anything rash. We… we’ll sign right away.”

A mocking laugh escaped Vidyut’s lips, his eyes darkening as he said, “One more question, Mr. Khanna, and I promise you, the consequences won’t be pleasant.”

Without wasting another second, Khanna and his PA hurriedly signed the papers, fear gripping their every movement. As they scrambled to leave, Vidyut’s phone rang, the sound breaking the tension.

For the first time that morning, a small, genuine smile crept onto his face. “Hello, Mom,” he answered, his voice softening in an instant.

“Hello, beta,” came the familiar, warm voice of his mother. “You remember what today is, right? It’s your brother’s engagement, and I don’t want any—any—excuses. You better be home early, or the consequences won’t be good for you, Mr. Chote Ekansh Rathore.”

Vidyut chuckled, running a hand through his hair. “Of course, Mom. How could I forget? I’ll be there before time, don’t worry.” His words were smooth, but deep down, he cursed himself for forgetting such an important event. But saying no to his mother was never an option. He hung up the call, guilt gnawing at the edges of his mind.

As he stood, ready to leave, one of his employees rushed into the room, his face pale with fear. “Sir, someone has betrayed us in the company… again. After all the warnings… He tried to backstab us.”

A dangerous glint flashed in Vidyut’s eyes. His jaw clenched, and a dark, violent energy filled the room. “I want every damn piece of information about that man and his company on my desk in two hours. If you fail, the consequences will be on your head.”

The employee nodded, terrified, and hurried out. Vidyut needed to calm the storm raging inside him. He knew his rage could consume him whole, and today of all days, he couldn’t afford to let it spiral.

The conference room was filled with tension as Advika Rathore stood behind her desk, her gaze fixed on the man in front of her. The sarcasm in his voice irritated her more than it should have.

“Why should we trust you with our project?” he asked, his smirk growing as he leaned back arrogantly. “What if you fail to meet our expectations?”

Advika clenched her fists, her knuckles turning white as she held back her fury. “Trust?” she asked, her voice dripping with disdain. “You come to my office, in my company, begging for an investment, and you have the audacity to question me about trust?”

The man smirked. “Well, you are Asia’s No. 1 businesswoman. But being successful doesn’t mean you can meet every expectation.”

Before he could finish, Advika snapped, her voice turning dangerous. “And that, Mr. Oberoi, is exactly why you’re sitting here, asking me for help. If you want to waste my time with such ridiculous questions, you can leave.” Her sharp words echoed in the room, leaving Mr. Oberoi silent.

As if on cue, his phone rang, and he hesitated before answering. “Sir… our factory has been sealed… for illegal activity. The authorities are shutting down our company too. Please, sir, come fast!”

Mr. Oberoi’s face drained of color. He stood quickly, panic written across his features as he moved toward the door. But Advika’s voice stopped him in his tracks.

“You messed with the wrong person, Mr. Oberoi,” she said, blowing air on her freshly manicured nails. “And I never give warnings. I show.”

With a look of pure hatred, he stormed out, but it didn’t bother Advika. She was used to this—the manipulation, the deceit. This was her world, and she ruled it with iron will.

But as one problem left, another entered. Mr. Oberoi’s PA, a man with an untrustworthy grin, approached her. “Miss Advika, you’re so… strong. Hayee, so tikhi mirchi. It burns… and I like that,” he said with a sleazy smile. “Maybe we should meet after hours, hmm? A woman like you must need… support and love.”

Advika’s PA muttered under her breath, “Love? Now he’s doomed.”

Before the man could say another word, Advika’s heel connected with his foot, sending pain shooting up his leg. She leaned in, her smile deadly. “I’ll meet you in my warehouse, Mr. Singh. Let’s see how much support you need.”

She signaled her bodyguards, who immediately grabbed the man, dragging him away as he whimpered in pain. Flipping her hair, she stormed out of the office, rage bubbling under her calm surface.

As she entered her house, her eyes landed on a familiar face that reignited the fury she had been holding back all day. Standing there, like she belonged, was Isha Rudransh Rajvanshi.

“Who gave you permission to enter this house, Mrs. Isha Rudransh Rajvanshi?” Advika’s voice was cold, her heart pounding with anger.

Isha smiled softly. “Beta, it’s our house too. We’ve come with your marriage alliance—”

“GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!” Advika’s roar shook the walls, her voice filled with venom and pain. Memories of betrayal crashed over her like waves, suffocating her in their intensity.

“Please, Advika, just listen to—”

“I DON’T REPEAT MY WORDS, MRS. RAJVANSHI. NOW!” Her voice broke with the weight of years of hurt and betrayal. Isha, realizing she had pushed too far, stepped back, her face pale with shock. Without another word, she fled from the house.

Advika stood there, trembling with rage and tears she refused to let fall. She grabbed a vase and hurled it across the room, watching it shatter into a thousand pieces—just like her heart.

Where will this anger lead them? What will happen when these two powerful souls collide? Will love find its way, or will their hatred destroy them both?
