𝙑𝙞𝙙𝙮𝙪𝙩' 𝙥𝙤𝙫:

I sat in the dim, cold underground room, hidden away from the world above. This place was meant to be a refuge-a sanctuary from the eyes of those who sought to bring me harm. The walls were made of thick stone, and the only light came from a single flickering bulb hanging from the ceiling. It was the kind of place where secrets were kept, and lives were changed forever. I was deep within this underground realm, away from everyone and everything I knew.

My mind wandered back to the decision that had led me here. The plan had been set in motion months ago with the help of my best friend, Agastya. We had faked my death to escape the threats posed by my rivals. It was a necessary deception, one that kept me safe from those who sought my downfall. Agastya was the only one who knew the truth of my situation-no one else was aware of my whereabouts.

As I sat there, lost in thought, a sudden alert broke through the silence: the code 121512. My heart skipped a beat. This was not just any code; it was a signal of immense significance. In the underground world, codes like this were reserved for the highest level of communication. If someone had the power to send this, it could only be the Underground World Queen herself or someone with equal authority. The possibility that she was reaching out to me was both unexpected and alarming.

I replied with the code 234121, the response meant to acknowledge that I was alive and ready to come out of hiding. It was a ritual, a part of our covert communication system that ensured safety and readiness. The code was not just a question but a command, compelling me to act. I had to confirm my presence and readiness to return to the surface.

When I emerged from my underground sanctuary, Agastya was waiting for me. His eyes, always calm and understanding, searched mine as if he could read the storm that raged inside me.

"What is it, Vidyut?" he asked gently. "What does this mean for you? Is it just another mission or something more?"

I replied, "Yes, it was, but there's a reason I have to be back. This code, I don't know how someone connected me to it."

"Code? Which code are you talking about?" Agastya asked.

I showed him the code. "This number I have never seen anywhere. There must be something here, Vidyut. What's the meaning?"

I took a deep breath and began to explain, drawing on the stark contrasts between the world we lived in and the one above us.

"A choice between love or life.
In the Mafia world, there is no existence of the word 'love'; it is only about survival. One mistake and you will be dead. But in the outside world, people live their lives for love; they can even take a life for love. (Mane ke agar wo Zinda hai lekin uska pyaar uske sath nahi toh wo apni Zindagi chhod kar apne pyaar ke pass Jana pasand karenge)
If someone is alive but their love is not with them, they might choose to leave their 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚 for their 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚. That's the difference between the Mafia world and the outside world. The only connection between the two worlds is the 𝙙𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙝
Death of 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚, the death of people, and the death of reality.

And that's why we received the next call, which is the other part of the code that completes the main code, 'Will death part us?' In the Mafia world, the Mafia is never scared of death if they believe they are right. In the real world, people never fear death if it means saving their love. That's where we can connect the dots.

In our secret communication system, 'Love or Life' is encoded as '121512,' asking, 'Will you be alive and return?' My response, 'Will death part us?' is encoded as '234121,' indicating that I am alive and coming back.

The use of '121512' serves as an urgent alarm. When I receive this code, it means I must immediately come out of hiding and confirm my safety and return with '234121.' This code is not just a question; it compels me to act, ensuring that I am alive and on my way back to the sender."

I paused, looking at Agastya. "The code is a relic from the past, created by a king and queen from two rival kingdom 𝙎𝙪𝙧𝙮𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙙𝙝 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘼𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙫𝙜𝙖𝙙𝙝. They were both rulers in the Mafia world, and their love was so profound that they devised this code to protect each other in times of danger. It was a way to ensure that they could always find their way back to each other, even in the face of death."

Agastya's eyes widened slightly as he absorbed this. "So this code... it's a symbol of that ancient love story?"

"Yes," I said, nodding. "The story of 𝙑𝙚𝙚𝙧 and 𝙄𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙠𝙖-two souls bound by 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦 amidst the 𝘝𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦 and power struggles of the strong world. Their story is one of sacrifice, where they chose life for each other even in the face of peril. It's their legacy that this code represents, and it's why it's still used today."

I looked at Agastya, my expression a mix of resolve and melancholy. "This code and the message it carries are a testament to the idea that even in the darkest corners of the Mafia world, there is still a flicker of hope and love. It's a reminder that we are all part of something greater, that even amidst death, there is the possibility of finding our way back."

Agastya's gaze softened. "And now?"

"Now," I said, "we must honor that legacy. We must go back and face whatever comes, carrying with us the knowledge that love and death are intertwined in ways we might never fully understand, but they shape our choices and our destinies."

With that, we prepared to step out of the shadows and into the light, ready to confront the challenges ahead.

As I entered my house, the sight in front of me sent shivers down my spine, and my world seemed to stop for a moment.
