Chapter 40: The Rolling Stones concert

It was the day that max was going to see The Rolling Stones, and he was excited to go and enjoy the music that was going to be played live on stage, which was one reason why max was going to Colorado in the first place.
Currently, he was sitting on a couch watching YouTube videos on his iPhone while waiting for when he and his mom were going as the show was going to be late in the day, when Adam and lute came in wearing something different than their exorcist uniforms and sat down next to max to see what he was doing.
"How's it hanging, kid?" Asked Adam.
"Doing fine, what do you need?" Said max.
"I want you to help me get good at that fucking pinball machine." Said Adam, being blunt about what he needed.
After knowing what Adam wanted help with, max got up and went downstairs to show Adam how to get good at his uncle's vintage pinball machine, which was a 1978 Playboy Bally table.
"Okay, how's about this? Since this has up to four players, why don't we do a quick two player game as a way of practicing?" Said max, turning on the pinball table.
"Fuck it, I'm down. Let's play." Exclaimed Adam.
And with that, max set the pinball table for two player and he and Adam had a few matches of pinball with max managing to score more points than Adam, much to the chagrin of the latter.
"How the fuck were you able to get more points?" Asked Adam, who didn't do so good at pinball.
"Because I wasn't staring at the playboy models that were on the table's overlay." Said max.
"Can you blame me, those girls are pretty hot." Said Adam.
Max facepalmed, as he should have expected Adam to say something like that, but he was still annoyed at Adam's nonsense.
"Well, if you're going to be good at pinball, my advice would be to keep your eye on the ball and not at the overlay." Said max, his eyelids half lowered.
"Fine, I'll try your advice and see if it works." Said Adam, who went to start another round of pinball.
Adam managed to score a bit better than last time, having actually listened to max's advice and kept his eye on the ball, and not at the playboy models on the pinball table's overlay.
After having played plenty of pinball, max, Adam, and lute then did some other stuff like pool and darts until it was the time for max, his mom, and his auntie and uncle to go to the empower field at mile high where The Rolling Stones were going to play that night, with Adam and lute following them both discreetly while they drove off.
When max and his family made it to the empower field at mile high, they parked the car in one of the parking lot sections and walked over to the front of the stadium, which had the four split up as max and his mom had to go inside from a different entrance and they were in different seating sections, but they managed to find out where they were going to sit during the show.
While max and his mom were getting seated, Adam and lute decided to try and get into the concert since Adam didn't want to be left out of a concert, especially since it was The Rolling Stones that were playing. They both were able to get in by conjuring up two tickets with their names on them, which got them a seating section that was in the middle and allowed them to enjoy the show.
Before The Rolling Stones officially started playing, the band widespread panic played a few songs to get things started while the audience was getting seated, and max ended up getting a book about the tour from a merch booth that was in the united club lobby that was included when the tickets were bought from united airlines, so max now had a memento to show Charlie and the rest of the hazbins.
When everyone else was seated and widespread panic had finished their set, it was now time for the show to begin, and the show began with the announcement of "Ladies and Gentlemen, The Rolling Stones!" Which made the crowd go wild as Keith Richards went on stage and started to play the song that would start the show.

The show was amazing as The Rolling Stones played some of their best hits and some of their newer songs from hackney diamonds, and max had a great time singing along to the songs that were performed, with the show ending around late at night, so max was feeling tired as he and his family left the stadium and drove back to max's uncle's house to get some sleep after having rocked out to one of the best bands in the world.
In max's dream, he was dreaming about pinball when god appeared to chat with max.
"So how was the concert?" Asked god, who stood next to max as he played.
"It was great, I had a bunch of fun." Said max.
"I hope that Adam and lute weren't too hard to deal with."
"Not really, I was able to beat Adam at pinball." Said max, which made god chuckle a little bit.
"I guess that makes you a pinball wizard." Said god.
Max laughed at god's joke, as he found being compared to a song by the who to be quite hilarious.
"Maybe I am, or maybe I won because it was a playboy theme from 1978." Said max, giggling as he spoke.
"That could be a good reason." Said god.
And so, god left max's dream, and max continued to play pinball in his dreams for the entirety of the time that he was sleeping after having the time of his life seeing The Rolling Stones.
