Chapter 19: queen bee's party

It was November, and that meant it was thanksgiving season and that meant the grocery stores had plenty of thanksgiving food in stock than other parts of the year, along with celebrating the historic event that created the United states of America we know today.
Currently for max and the others, they were all just hanging around the hotel resting from the Halloween holiday by getting rid of the jack o lanterns that were outside and starting to get old and mushy.
"Well, Halloween has come and gone, but we still got to enjoy it." Said max, thinking of the good times from October.
"Yeah, we all got to have fun together." Said Charlie, smiling at the memories.
After all the pumpkins were thrown away, max sat down on the hotel's couch while Charlie had a question to ask max about November.
"Hey max, are there any special events around November?" Asked Charlie.
"Well, aside from Election Day and Veterans Day, which are days to vote and celebrate history, the main holiday of this month is thanksgiving, which is having a big dinner and being thankful for everything you've got in life." Explained max, showing which days on the calendar.
When Charlie listened to what max said, she was gleaming about being able to have her first thanksgiving dinner in Hawaii.
"That sounds like something we might all enjoy." Said Charlie happily.
Suddenly, a portal from the hell isles appeared and a letter came out of it and landed in max's lap.
"Hmm, I wonder who sent this." Said max, his eyebrow raised.
Max gave the mysterious letter to Charlie, who knew who sent it and what it was.
"This was sent by queen bee." Said Charlie,
Max immediately opened the letter, and in the letter was an invitation to one of her hellhound parties as a guest of honor because she also saw the news interview and wanted to meet him in person.
"I guess this is serious, then." Said max, having fully read the letter.
"Well, it must be if she wants you to go to one of her parties." Said Charlie, who was also looking at the letter.
"Do you Think it's a good idea to go?" Asked max, cautious about the invitation.
"I've heard about her parties, and they were given good reception." Said Charlie.
"So, we might as well go then and see what happens." Said max, shrugging his shoulders.
"I'm fine with that." Said vaggie.
"Ok, I'll wear something for it then." Said max, who started to get up from the hotel couch.
And then, max left the hotel and went to his house to wear some clothes for queen bee's party.
The clothes max wore for the party were a simple pair of shorts, a shirt, his shoes, and his flat cap.
After max was in party attire, he went back to the hotel where Charlie and vaggie were wearing their own party attire.
"So, are we all ready to go?" Asked max.
"Yeah, we just need to figure out how to get there." Said Charlie.
Suddenly, a portal opened up and on the other side was queen bee's mansion.
"Wow, what perfect timing!" Said max, who started to chuckle.
And so, max, Charlie, and vaggie went through the portal to see Lucifer, loona, and blitzø standing in front of queen bee's mansion.
"Did you get invited too?" Asked max to blitzø.
"Yes, we did." Said blitzø, showing his invite to max.
"So did stolas open the portal to bring us here?" Asked max, wondering who opened it.
"Nope, I brought you here ." Said Lucifer, who closed the portal that max and the others went through.
"Alright then, let's see what this party's all about." Said max, clasping his hands and rubbing them together.
And so, max, Charlie, vaggie, Lucifer, blitzø, and loona went into Queen bee's mansion to see the party.
At the party, there were plenty of hellhounds and imps there, along with a bunch of food that both demons and humans could handle, and everyone was having a good time and enjoying the party.
"Ill admit, this party looks fun." Said max, shrugging his shoulders.
And then, queen bee appeared and announced "alright! It's awesome that you could all come to my party! Now let's make this party official by going absolutely fucking wild!"
And with queen bee's announcement, the partygoers got more excited and started dancing around the mansion and eating the food.
After Queen bee said her announcement, she then went to where max was, sitting away from the ruckus while holding a small plate of food.
"Hey! What do you think of the party?" Asked queen bee to max.
"To be honest, the food's fine and the music's okay." Said max after having a bite of steak from his plate.
"That's cool, at least you're enjoying it." Said queen bee.
"So," said queen bee, "there's going to be a bit of karaoke in a few minutes, and because you're a secret guest of honor, maybe you would like to sing something to everyone."
"Ok, I'm fine with that." Said max.
And then, max went to where there was a karaoke speaker set up to sing and max decided to sing a song by good old David Bowie.
The David Bowie song max sang:

While max was singing David Bowie, he also danced along with the song, and that caused everyone to cheer and film him for the hell isle's social media.
When max finished singing David Bowie, the crowd went wild as cheers and applause filled the crowds as max left the karaoke speaker to go where Charlie and the others were at.
"That was really great." Said Charlie, clapping her hands.
"I'm glad you liked it." Said max, happy that they all enjoyed it.
As max and the others were listening to the partygoer's karaoke singing, max had one question to ask queen bee.
"So, is there any reason why you wanted me to sing aside from being a special guest?" Asked max.
"Well, that's simple, verosika mayday posted on her social media about how she met you and that you sang bohemian rhapsody really impressively." Said queen bee, showing verosika's post on her phone.
"Alright, at least she likes queen." Said max.
"So Lucifer, what do you think of the party?" Asked queen bee.
"This party just as good as the last one I went to." Said Lucifer, holding a candy apple that queen bee had enlarged.
It wasn't long, but the party started to end and everybody started to go home, and with their final goodbyes, max and the others went back home to the hotel.
"I'm officially partied out." Said max, stretching his arms.
"Yeah, we all need to have some rest." Said Charlie, also tired and full from the party.
And so, max went to his house and went to bed.
Meanwhile, at heaven, now having become a set of islands similar to the hell isles because of the world merging, god was watching the videos of max while going over the cherub's notes about him,which were honest.
"I suppose it's about time to meet max in person." Said god, setting the notes down on his desk as he planned what would be a good time to meet max in the flesh.
