Chapter 42: blitzø and verosika talk

It was July, meaning that the United States would celebrate Independence Day on the fourth, there was one more month before the deadline, and max's summer break was coming to an end and he would have to go back to school.
Currently, max was in his room sitting in his chair playing breath of the wild on his Wii U when he got a message from Charlie saying that verosika was there to give him an invitation, to which max decided to turn off his Wii U and went to the hotel to see why verosika was there and what the invitation was for.
"If verosika's inviting me to an anti-blitzø party, I'm gonna be pissed." Said max, who was talking to himself.
When max was inside the hotel, he saw verosika sitting at the bar holding a piece of paper, so he walked over to where verosika was to see what she was at the hotel for.
"Hey verosika, how are you doing?" Asked max, trying to start a conversation.
"I'm fine, I'm mainly here to give you this invite to something that I'll be hosting." Said verosika, giving max the paper invitation.
The invitation that verosika gave max turned out to be for a party that she personally hosted for anyone that wanted to have a bit of fun, but max was a little unsure about it.
"This isn't an invite to an anti-blitzø party, is it? Because I have no ill experience with blitzø that would make me hate him and I think that dedicating a hate party to an ex partner is pretty damn petty." Said max.
"It's not for my anti-blitzø party, that's in October. it's actually for a separate party I'm going to host in Hawaii, and I wanted to see if you were interested in going." Said verosika.
Max was a little bit curious about what type of party it was going to be, so he decided to open up the invitation, and it turned out to be for a small party that was going to be at coconut island, which got max a bit interested.
"Okay, I'll see what this is about. But is there anything else you came to drop off?" Said max, setting the invitation onto the counter.
"Yes, I've got another invitation." Said verosika, handing max a second paper invite.
The second invitation that verosika gave max was addressed to blitzø, which had the words "you're invited, dickbag!" Written on it, which max thought was weird as blitzø and verosika hadn't discussed things since the apology tour didn't happen.
"Why are you giving me an invitation that's meant for blitzø?" Asked max, who was a bit confused.
"I saw the apology tour episode and decided to invite him to this party to actually talk to him." Said verosika.
"Okay, but you both should probably talk to each other and sort things out first before giving him the invitation to your party." Said max.
"Fine, but as long as you give him the invitation." Said verosika.
And with that, max and verosika went off to the I.m.p building to deliver the party invitation to blitzø and allow both him and verosika to at least try to talk each other out.
At the I.m.p building, blitzø was about to get into the I.m.p Van when he noticed verosika's car in the parking lot, so he decided to go over to verosika's car to see why she was there in the first place.
"What are you doing here, verosika?" Asked blitzø.
"I'm just here to talk." Said verosika, who was being serious and getting out of her car.
"why do you want to talk to me?" Asked blitzø.
Verosika then started to explain the main reason why she was at the I.m.p building, how she had seen the apology tour episode of helluva boss and that she was willing to allow blitzø to apologize to her, along with her telling blitzø about the party that he was invited to, with max giving Blitzø the invitation.
"Okay, I'm sorry for running away when you said you loved me. I ran because everything around me gets destroyed and I make things worse, so I did that shit so it wouldn't happen to you, but after watching myself with stolas, I'm aware of myself and what I've done to others, so I promised myself to be better and try not to be an asshole, so I'll go to your party." Said blitzø.
"Thank you, you're also welcome to bring your employees to the party." Said verosika.
"Alright, It actually feels a bit better to get that off my chest." Said blitzø.
"I'm glad you're feeling better, and I hope you have fun at the party." Said max.
And with that, blitzø and verosika had officially made amends with each other, and verosika drove max back to the hotel, where max told the others that he and verosika managed to deliver blitzø's invitation to him.
"So, how did it go?" Asked Charlie.
"It went fine. Blitzø and verosika were able to make amends and he's agreed to go to the party." Said max, sitting down on the hotel's couch.
"That's good, I'm glad you both talked to each other." Said Charlie.
"Yeah, he was also serious about his apology." Said verosika.
After having talked for a bit, verosika was now ready to head back to the hell isles through the hotel's door, but before she left she had one last thing to say.
"Also, you're all welcome to come if you want to, as the invite says you can bring a group." Said verosika, closing the door after she spoke.
After verosika had left the hotel by going through the door to the hell isles, max was thinking about if he should go or not.
"Do you think we should go to verosika's party?" Asked max.
"Maybe, it could be like last time we were with verosika." Said Charlie.
"Okay, then we're going to the party." Said max.
And so, after agreeing that they were going to verosika's party at coconut island, max and the others spent the rest of the day getting the hotel ready and doing some rehabilitation practices, along with watching the Coen brothers movie Raising Arizona, and when it was done max went to bed wondering how the party would go.
