Chapter 11: the interview

The next day, after max did his morning routine, he was in his bedroom jamming out to some rock in roll music.
The song max was jamming to:

(A/n: I fucking love the Beatles. I know, I'm a man of many tastes.)
Max was mainly jamming to this song because he was passing the time to prepare for the interview mentally and so he can get his thoughts together for being in front of a camera and asked a bunch of questions. That and also music keeps him calm and cool.
Max had set an alarm on his phone for noon as that was when the interview was supposed to happen and he didn't want to be late for even a little bit.
When it was 11:00 am, max was fully prepared for his noon interview and ready for whatever questions Katie killjoy asked and was just waiting for the portal to open.
And then, the portal opened, and max went through to see Charlie,vaggie, and Lucifer on the other side of the portal, where they then went into a limo.
" how's it going?" Asked max.
"It's currently doing fine, max." Said Charlie
"Alright." Said max, " now, how is this going to go?"
"Hopefully good, we even made sure angel dust promise to not go on a turf war." Said Charlie.
" probably because he has to make sure his friend is safe. Anyway, let's make sure this actually goes as well as a George Carlin sketch." Said max, referring to a damn good comedian.
And with that, the limo had made it to the channel 666 news building, where the interview was going to be aired.
When max and the others were in the building, they passed by some studios that hosted the usual topics on a news station, until they made it to the main studio where Katie killjoy and Tom trench were sitting on the news desk.
"Alright, we're here. We just need to answer whatever questions she's got." Said max to himself.
Max then decides to be polite and says hello to Katie killjoy.
"Hello" max said awkwardly.
"Whatever, I would say having a human on the show is interesting, but that's a lie." Said Katie, taking a puff from her cigarette.
"Says the walking toothpick sculpture." Snarked max about Katie's toothpick legs.
"I don't care about what you say because I'm too rich to give a shit about some fuck in a flannel overshirt." Said Katie killjoy rudely.
Just then, a random demon called out "and we're now live!" Making Katie to stop scowling at max and look at the camera.
"Good evening, all of pentagram city, I'm Katie killjoy." Said Katie killjoy.
"And I'm Tom trench." Said Tom trench.
"And for this special broadcast, we have our king, Lucifer mange, and a human being to explain the recent events that has happened." Said Katie killjoy
"So I must ask, what the fuck happened, And why are the rings in the middle of the ocean?" Asked Tom trench.
Lucifer answered first, saying " it's kind of a thing that I should describe as a world merging, as there were portals that brought my daughters hotel and some other buildings to earth."
"Where did the buildings even go?" Asked Tom.
"Well, the hotel, the house of stolas Goetia, and an office building and two apartment buildings from imp city have been sent to Hawaii, of all places." Explained Lucifer.
"Yeah, and the hotel landed in my backyard pasture." Said max.
And then, there was a few seconds of awkward silence, until max gave an exhale and clapped his hands and said " your world has landed in a reality where your all fictional characters in a web show."
Katie and Tom show confused expressions on both their faces, and this confused expression was shown on every single demon that were watching the interview.
"What the fuck are you talking about?" Asked Katie killjoy.
"Do I need to repeat myself?" Asked max.
"What max just said was true." Said Lucifer, shrugging his shoulders.
"How the fuck is he true? He's just some fuck in a flannel." Said Katie killjoy
"I know it's true because I have proof about it." Said max, showing his iPhone with the hazbin hotel pilot thumbnail on the screen.
And when max showed the hazbin hotel pilot thumbnail, everyone started to understand what max was saying about them being fictional.
"Umm... and there you have it. Our special interview with the king of hell and the human who has to live with it." Said Katie killjoy
And with that, the live broadcast had ended, and max and the others were walking back to the limo after all the interviewing.
"Well, I'd say that went pretty smoothly." Said max
"Yeah," said Charlie, " I'm surprised that a fight didn't break out."
"Either we were very lucky, or she wasn't willing to get on my bad side." Said Lucifer, noting about that Katie was quick to anger.
"You think we should pick up the others?" Asked max.
"Yeah, we should, because they live in the hotel." Said vaggie with a serious tone.
And with that, they all picked up the others, took a portal back to the big island, and went back to the hotel to relax for a bit.
At max's house, max was sitting in his chair playing games on his ps4 when suddenly, alastor came into his room to see what he was doing.
"Hello there, max." Said alastor, " what are you playing on the picture show?"
Max was a bit startled as he was entranced by what he was playing. But he regained himself, paused his game, and answered with " doing fine alastor, just playing far cry five."
Max then asked " is there any reason why your in my room?"
"No reason," said alastor, " just wanted to know what you are currently doing."
" and now we know, I'll see you tomorrow then." Said max, resuming his game.
And then, alastor left the room, and max spent the evening resting until it was time for bed and max was going to be ready for whatever tomorrow was going to throw at him.
