Chapter 14: verosika's vacation

It was a regular day for max, he has since managed to balance his home and school life with having to deal with whatever batshit insanity was on the hell isles, and he was currently was at the Goetia mansion talking to stolas, stella, and Octavia.
"So, uh, how are things currently? I want to know because I'm out of the loop." Said max, trying his best to start a conversation.
Stolas and Stella look at each other, both having expressions of 'we should probably tell him what we've been doing', before telling max what they've been up too while max was having his hazbin shenanigans.
"Well," said stolas, "let's say we were able to find a middle ground for our relationship."
"What's that supposed to mean?" Asked max with a bewildered expression.
Stella then whispers into max's ear "after talking with each other, we decided to have me join in on blitzø's monthly visits."
Max immediately grimaced when he was told how they fixed their relationship.
"Ugh, thanks for telling." Said max sarcastically.
"Freaky," thought max, "but at least their attempting a way to fix themselves."
Suddenly, without any expectation or writer who knows what he's doing, the sound of a portal opening was heard by max , who immediately went out of the Goetia mansion to find out who it was.
"What the hell is going on?" Wondered max aloud to himself.
His question was immediately answered by the fact that verosika mayday was there closing the portal she came through.
"I got a feeling blitzø is gonna be pissed about his ex being here." Said max.
Verosika turns and notices max from the news interview, saying "holy shit, your that human from the news."
Max gives an exhale and asks "am I a small celebrity or something over at the hell isles?"
"Yes," said verosika bluntly.
Max then shrugs his shoulders and says "alright, well how come your in Hawaii? I mean, it's either a vacation or your trying to get a show here."
"Why'd you ask, you interested in one?" Said Verosika, smirking.
"No, I don't like pop music and I'm sixteen." Explained max, his face cringing.
"Oh, sorry about that, but it's mainly a vacation." Said verosika.
Max paused for a second, but then said "can you excuse me for a moment?"
Max then goes on his phone and calls Charlie.
"Hello Charlie, yeah I need you to come here because verosika mayday came here. Yes, the pop star. No, her powers aren't affecting me. Alright, well see you later." Said max during his phone call.
Max then hangs up the phone and verosika asks "how do you know princess charlie?"
Max shrugs his shoulders and admits "it's a long story. If it was a story on Wattpad, it would take a bunch of chapters to explain it."
Just about then, right on time, Charlie came in her car and max walked to over to get in.
"Don't you have a drivers license?" Asked verosika to max.
"I'll be honest, no. That's why I always have to be chauffeured around by Charlie and vaggie. I have a bike license, but I don't bike much." Admitted max.
When max went into Charlie's car, vaggie said "you weren't lying about verosika being here."
"So what do we do, Do the same thing we did and show her around Hawaii like blitzø and the others?" Asked max to Charlie.
"Alright, if she wants to join us." Said Charlie.
And with that confirmation, max opened the car door to allow verosika into her car and asked her "do you need a ride?"
"Sure" said verosika, immediately going into Charlie's car.
"So verosika, anywhere you want to go in Hawaii?" Asked max, shrugging his shoulders.
"I heard that Kilauea was a good place to look at." said verosika.
"Alright then, there's a nice spot to see the lava." Said max, before immediately saying "let's-a go!" In a Mario voice.
And so, Charlie drove her and the others to Kilauea as max decided to connect his phone to the radio and said "I think a little bit of bohemian rhapsody, ladies and gentlemen." To which vaggie replied with "alright."

As the song was playing, max decided to sing along with it, and then everyone else in the car started singing along. It could be best compared to the scene in Wayne's world, and it was fun.
When bohemian Rhapsody was done, max had a question to ask verosika about him being a small celebrity in the hell isles.
"So verosika, what's making me a small celebrity at the hell isles?" Asked max curiously.
"Well," said verosika, "there's a rumor that you sold your soul to Lucifer or some shit."
Max snorts and begins to laugh, finding the rumor a bit funny.
"What kind of dumbass would think of something like that?" Said max.
"One who wants to make something up for popularity." Said Charlie.
And then, they had made it to the Kilauea overlook, where they were able to see the beauty of the lava coming out of Kilauea.
"It's amazing how different the lava looks compared to home." Said Charlie, looking through a tower viewer.
"It sure is, Charlie. " Said vaggie, also looking through a tower viewer next to Charlie's.
Max then looks at his phone, noticing it was about lunchtime, and max was getting hungry.
"Welp, this has been fun and all, but I'm starting to get hungry so how's about we get something to eat."
Said max.
"Yeah, it's just about that time." Said Charlie, who was also getting hungry.
"You know any places for food?" Asked verosika, "I could go for some sort of Hawaiian cuisine."
"There's a military camp that has a bowling alley and arcade that serves food." Said max, having fond memories of playing bowling.
"Alright, as long as we get food cause I'm ready to eat." Said verosika.
And so, everyone went off to go to the Kilauea military camp bowling alley to get some food.
After they all got food they all drove down to max's house so verosika could be able to head back to the hell isles.
"Well, this trip has been fun, but I'm going to go back home. It's been a blast being able to see Hawaii for what it's worth." Said verosika, opening up a portal to the hell isles.
"Goodbye, verosika." Said max, " be sure to tell your friends."
"Don't worry, I will." Said verosika, going through the portal and closing it immediately.
After verosika's portal closed, max asked Charlie "so how come her charms didn't work on me?"
"Succubus power only works on the over 18 demographic, so anyone below that age is unaffected." Said Charlie, giving max an interesting lesson on how succubi work.
"Alright, you think we'll see her again?" Asked max.
"Depends on if she visits again." Admitted Charlie.
"Well, I think it's about time for a movie showing so how about I make that a surprise." Said max.
"Okay, ill get the others." Said Charlie, bringing vaggie along to the hotel.
And so, max and the hazbins were all sitting together as they all watched max's special feature film, the 1995 mortal kombat movie. (the one where Christopher lambert plays raiden.)
When the movie was done, max went back to his house to enjoy himself for the rest of the day and get some rest.
