TW: panic attack

Today me and my mom were out shopping. We went to all kind off stores weather it was clothing or just some really random items. After a while me and my mom go a little hungry so we decided to find a place to eat. We went to the KFC since it's usually my favourite. "What would you like Em?" Instead of answering her question I go behind the self-service point and order myself. We sit down and wait for them to call out our number as I suddenly can't filter the voices anymore. I hear everything and it is too much. Usually I would run to the horses now but I can't. I cover my ears to try and soften all of the noices but it doesn't really help. "Em! Em ehat's going on?!" My mom asks me in a worry but I just close my eyes trying to shut myself away from the world. I feel someone stroking my arm and I think it's my mother. "Em, it's alright, you're sage with me." I hear her whisper and that is the only thing I try and focus on.
Autumn

As I see Ember covering her ears and closing her eyes I immidiatly recocnize it as a panic attack. He rbreathing has gotten heaving and she closes herself off from the world. I try to calm her down by stroking her arm with my thumb and speaking to her in a soft voice. "Darling, I'm with yoy, everything is fine." I see her calming down slightly but she is still panicking a lot. "Em, can you name 5 things you can see for me?" She opens her eyes and looks around. "Uhm, a table, uhmm, you, your phone, the window and uhm, the- the chair." I squeeze her arm softly, "Good job Em, now what are 4 things you can touch?" I see her calming down, "you, the table, the chair and my clothes.". I see her relax slightly but she is still so distracted. "You're doing wonderfull Em! Everything sill be fine, I promise." I look into her eyes but they are staring into a black space. "Sweetie, what are 3 things you can hear?" I move myself so I'm no longer sitting accross from her on the other side of the table but next to her, pulling her into an embrace. "You, the people talking and, uhm," she stayed silent for a little bit whilst thinking. "Uhm, your phone." I hug her even tighter as she seems to have calmed down a lot. "You did amazing Em!" I say as she now also put her arms around me.
A little while after Ember has filly calmed down I'm still sitting next to her when an employee arived with our food. We thanked her as we divided our food amongst the two of us. "You know, usually when I have a panic attack I go to the horses to calm me down." Ember commented and I got a little shocked, usually? "Wait Ember, usually? How mamy times have you had a panic attack?" She looks away before I ask her again. "Sweetheart, please tell me." "A few times alright! But it's not like it matters, I have Gloria, Raven and Stella." I give her another hug and we start eating. "Em, just know you can also always go to me and Wint." "I knoww." She says before grabbing some fries and stuffing them in her mouth.
That afternoonwhen we got back and Ember was with the horses I tell Winter about what happened this afternoon. "My darling, it's fine, I was there and usually the horses are." Winter sighs and I see him zone out a bit. "I remember how that felt."
"You still miss him, don't you?"
He nods, "I'll always miss him."
