"Bye, Marjorie." Sorscha and Clodagh waved Marjorie, Reece, and their kids goodbye before turning back to Autumn and Winter.

"So you actually did it?" Clodagh asked. Autumn looked down for a quick second, but she wasn't ashamed of it in the presence of Clodagh and Sorscha. "Yes, I will not be allouwing that rat, or anyone for that matter to be threatening me with murdering the people who are dearest to me."

Whilst the adults were discussing what they would do next, Ember was in Quinn's room with Quinn and Faye.

Faye is about 1 year younger than Quinn. She is 14 and is the person you would always go to for the gossip. "Oh my god girl, you won't believe what Elanor what did last week!" The girls sat down on Quinn's bed and began gossiping.

"But my love, we still have one little problem." Winter says to Autumn, and she raises her eyebrow confused. "What is it?" "His corpse is still rotting in our basement."
"Oh fuck!" Autumn thought to herself. "Yeah, uhmm..." Autumn was thinking out loud. "Do yall want a new driveway?" Clodagh and Sorscha laughed and shaked their head. "Maybe it would be handy if there was something that could connect your driveway to the field? Or that you park your horse truck on a new bit of pavement." This was an idea that Autumn and Winter both liked. "Yeah, that would work." Winter said, agreeing.

"Mom!" Faye called out to Clodagh from upstairs, so she went to check up on what was wrong. "What is wrong, girls?" She asked. "Quinn looked at her and asked, "Did Autntie Autumn really kill Ratty Rog?" Clodagh looked down at the girls and sat next to them on the bed. "It wasn't as simple as that girls, and you can't tell anyone what I'm about to say." The three girls nodded and looked at Clodagh.

"You know how that man has done some terrible things over the years?" They nodded once more before Clodagh continued. "Well, when Autumn saw him in Embers room," Ember took a deep breath. She didn't want to relive this, but she couldn't help it. "Can we skip this?" She asked whilst trying to keep her breathing steady. "What if you go to Faye's room for a bit?" Clodagh suggested, and Ember nodded before walking away. "So, what I was saying is that when she saw him, she was done with him threatening their lives over and over again. Yes, she did end his life, but it is for the better. If he had stayed alive, their whole family, and Marjorie and Reeces' one would be tiptoeing around, trying to avoid him for their entire lives."

The two children of Sorscha and Clodagh looked horrified at what had happened, but truly most of it was for their friend, they considerd her family at this point, and that he would even dare to hurt her was the most painful. He was his grandfather after all. He should have  loved his family instead of trying to hurt it.

Instead of going to Faye's room, Ember went downstairs to her parents and Sorscha. She sat cuddled up with her father, mother, and Sorscha when she told them what was going on in her mind.

In that moment when she noticed him in her room. She thought she was going to die. Especially when he was holding her at gun point. She wanted to scream for help and cry out for her parents to say one last goodbye. She couldn't have done anything against him. She felt helpless. In her mind, she was saying her last goodbyes to everyone dear to her. Her parents, horses, boyfriend, friends, cousins, aunt and uncle, her chosen aunts, and her chosen cousins, everyone who held a place close to her heart.

She got off her chest what was bothering her most to them. How he just didn't care about any of them as he should have.

Autumn wiped away Embers tears when the others came downstairs. "Hey, Em." Faye said when sitting down next to her. "Did you hear that Mr. Miller got fired because of his favouritism towards Dylan and his group?" Faye whispered in Embers' ear, and it made her laugh. "Finally, they got rid of him!"

"Uhm, Ember, we're heading home soon." Winter said, stroking her hair. "Alright, dad." She said, sitting down next to her cousins. "We'll follow you there." Sorscha said.

They all went to the house of Winter and Autumn and very coincidently, in the next week there was a new road made.
