"Two tankers full of weapons and one full of defense gear are on their way. Continually track the containers, we cannot let our cargo sink in the sea."
Hernando spoke to the team and I kept looking forward; my body restless.
I didn't want to admit why I was restless. I was in denial.
"Nine." I turned to find Juan looking at me.
"You're sure you're okay?"
I nodded, turning back to look at the ocean upfront.
That had him getting the memo, and he turned around, cocking the gun he had before walking away.
He was always prepared.
We heard a ship's whistle and the entire team climbed on the docks while I stood rooted at my place.
The trucks came loading in and my team filled in the shipments, I stood, checking them off the list.
"We have a package missing!" Chen called out and my eyes darted to the ship's captain.
"We didn't loose any package. I loaded it myself two days ago." He let it out very quick.
I deadpanned and he gulped.
"Call the guards off the deck." I ordered Juan and he nodded bringing all men and women from inside the ship to where I stood.
They all lined up and I gritted out. "We have a package missing." The paling faces sufficed.
"What does the tracker say?" My eyes didn't waver off the men and women in the black and red suits.
"It's still in the warehouse." Leslie responded.
I turned to the other team, responsible of bringing shipment from Greece to Italy, their eyes wide when they saw what was coming their way.
"I'll have your heads if the shipment is not here by the end of this week."
They all nodded and I seethed. "It's millions of dollars of shipment that you guys left, my clienteles are waiting and I can't have any more irresponsibility like last week's. Comprendida?"
(Understood?)"Si, Princesa!" I turned around, watching the trucks load up and off to our warehouses.
"Good job everyone but I can't have such mistakes being carried out again. Kindly wake up off your incompetency and work with passion, or my bullet will make a hole in your skulls the next time."
"Trouble in paradise, gem?"
My heartbeat thud hard against my chest and I spoke out, "Not now, Velvet."
"You all may leave, thank you for your help today."
"Si, Princesa!" All hollered and the team made their way back to the ship, it sailing off, while my team of six scattered around to round the area.
