CHAPTER 5

Faye "I do have a plan,a proposal rather"
Faye smiles at both Hannah and Yoko

Hannah "What is it?"

Faye "Miss Yoko,how long are you intended to stay in Bangkok?"

Yoko "About one month,then I have to go back to Japan"
Yoko stopped herself from telling Faye about her Japanese mafia family, and the fact that she is slated to marry the son of another clan as a power consolidation plan

Faye "Perfect. Are you interested in going on an adventure with me?"

Yoko "What do you mean?"

Faye "Will you be willing to pose as my girlfriend?"  "For only one month?"

Yoko "What about Marissa?" "Isn't she..."

Yoko gets cut off by Faye.

Faye "It's over between me and Marissa. No more." "During this month you will be joining me on many public events"

Yoko "Being your dinner guest and house guest is one thing. But posing as your girlfriend is a whole new matter." "Please let me think about it."
Though Yoko can't help but feels drawn to the beautifully handsome singer, but what this woman asked of her really needs to be thought out.

Realizing that she may be crossing the line by asking too much and making the young woman uncomfortable Faye apologized

Faye "Sorry about the blunt request.I won't ask anymore"

The 3 people in the van fell into an awkward silence.

Though it only lasted for a quick 10 minutes, it feels like an eternity.

The silence would have lasted longer if not forever the phone call.

RING RING RING!

Hannah answered "Hello Hannah speaking... OMG!That's wonderful news. I will let Faye know this right away. Thank you so much."
Hannah hangs up the phone.

Hannah "You wouldn't believe. You know that historical drama?"

Faye "The one I have been trying for so long to get." "What about it?"

Hannah "We got it!The network heard our sample and decided to let you write the OST and sing the main song "

Faye "That's wonderful. That means I can put the bonus track in my album. And prepare my next concert tour theme based on that song." "Did they say when can I release the news?"

Hannah "The network will release the news by the evening news tonight."

Faye "Then send a hint on my social media accounts. I'm sure the fanclubs will pick it up so they can spread the news." "And  after the evening news send the official news release. Then tell the admins to go big on it."

Hannah "How about Marissa?"

Faye "If the fanclub admins ask,tell them she and I have  parted ways peacefully. They usually respect my privacy so I don't have much to worry about. If they don't ask then there's no need to say anything " "I'm sure Dispatch Bangkok already told the country about it by now."

The chauffeur pulls the van into the restaurant parking lot.

Faye "Driver, park into my parking spot. I will go in by myself. Then can you help Hannah take miss Yoko to the VIP room?" " Miss Yoko please feel free to order anything from the menu,it's on the house. You don't need to pay."

Yoko "Thank you."

Faye "And after you have your meal, Hannah and the driver will take you to your hotel to collect your belongings and then take you to my place" "I will tell the housekeeper to prepare the guest room" "Got a few things to tend to, then I will be home."

Faye gets off the van,takes her work briefcase sunglasses and Sunny.

Reporter 1"Faye is it true? Did you break up with Marissa?"
Faye "No comment"
Reporter 2"What is the relationship status with you and that girl you were with? Is she your latest squeeze?"" Please Faye tell us more!"
Faye "No comment"
Sunny barks at the paparazzi.
Faye quickly enters into No Limits, a posh restaurant.
She drops her belongings in the back office and picks up Sunny,
Faye "Sunny, you be a good boy okay?"

Faye walks over to a corner of the restaurant where a couple of tables are joined and is being seated with her friends.
Bee,a supermodel and also rival to Marissa,gets up to greet Faye.
Bee "Faye,the woman of the hour,you finally showed up."
Faye "Hello Bee,you are looking fabulous as always."
Bee,having also seen the news,could not keep her hands off Faye.
Bee "So you finally got rid of Marissa,good for you."  "You finally come to your senses" "I always knew she's not the one for you,I've always told you that.I always told you that I am the one but you didn't listen."
Bee shift into a more aggressive tone of voice "Better late than never" "When are you going to invite me to your place so we can discuss about us?"

Though Faye is not too thrilled with the idea of Bee's hold on her,she couldn't refuse because of the table full of guests in front of her. But it is getting uncomfortable as time goes on.

A slowly walking in Yoko saw the sight of an uncomfortable looking Faye. Suddenly a thought came into Yoko.
Bit by bit Yoko walks away from Hannah

Speaking loud from across the restaurant,Yoko "Faye my love, there you are!" Whilst inching closer to Faye.
Now standing next to Faye,Yoko pulled Faye in for an embrace,then giving Faye a hot kiss,stunning everyone in the restaurant.

Yoko whisper into Faye's ear"I.....
