An Unfinished Picture

Chapter 20

After the sex crazed few days Faye went back to work in her home office.
Yoko "Do you have to?"
Faye "I petitioned for this, signed the contract too" "I  have to see it thru"
Yoko "Fine"
Faye Yoko sweetly kissed. Then the kiss becomes more intense until Faye pulls away.
Faye "OK that's all"
Yoko "Darn!"
Yoko walks away swiftly,all while Faye watches Yoko in a lustful gaze smiling.

Faye continues to write the tunes for the TV program.

DING DONG!

The door bell rings

Yoko answers

It's Ice

Ice "Hello. You must be Yoko. My name is Ice. Pleased to meet you"
Ice marches into the living room in her signature light blue attire 
Yoko "Hello miss Ice. Likewise" "Do I know you?"
Ice "Nope. But I know everything about you"

Those words put Yoko in an uneasy position.

Faye got out of her home office

Faye "Who's there?"
Seeing Ice...

Faye "Ice, it's been a while.What are your doing here?"
Ice "I'm feeling kinda nostalgic so I decided to give an old friend a visit" "And to give you the news myself, that I am officially divorced"
Faye " Good to hear that but I don't want you here.Can you cut to the chase?"
Ice "I came to save you. To warn you"
Faye "About?"
Ice "About her! Don't you know?" "Her family, or mafia family "
Faye "Yoko and I have no secrets,she told me about it already " "I  knew that"
Ice "Are you sure you know everything?"
Ice turns to face Yoko "You really told her everything? Wanna fess it up before I continue?"
Yoko "I got nothing to hide"
Ice "Really? Don't say that I didn't give you a chance" "Like how is Mr Kitajima? YOUR FIANCEE!"
Yoko "How do you know about that?"
Ice "Like I said,I know everything about you"
Ice takes out a few pieces of old Japanese newspapers, with the front cover of Yoko and Mr Kitajima. The headline writes A GRAND UNION IN MAFIA HEAVEN,YOKO YAMAGUCHI OF THE YAMAGUCHI CLAN IS SET TO MARRY SHINJI KITAJIMA OF THE KITAJIMA CLAN.
Another paper writes LOVE BLOSSOMS IN MAFIA LAND---YOKO YAMAGUCHI IS ENGAGED TO BE MARRIED TO SHINJI KITAJIMA
Ice "With a beautiful girl such as you I'll bet he can't wait for you to be his bride"
Yoko looked at the old newspapers and remembered how her mom and the Kitajima clan got their mentally retarded son to pose for the pictures to be released to the major news outlets.
Faye looks at the newspaper , then at Yoko
Faye "Is that true ?" "That you are going to be married?"
Yoko "Yes"  "My family arranged it,I had no choice..."
Yoko's voice becomes shaky
Faye "How could you? How could you hide this from me?" "When I told you everything about me"
Yoko "I was going to..."
Faye "When?" "When you have the ring on your finger?" Or when you are surprisingly pregnant?" "How could you do this? How could you lie to me?"
Yoko "Faye I am sorry!"
Facing the revelations of today Faye is reminded of the days right after she woke up after a month long comatose, the first sound and image that greeted her was from the TV. It was showing DISPATCH BANGKOK and it was showing the painful image of Ice being married to someone else.
Faye "Just go. Go back to your fiancee"
Yoko "Please Faye listen to me, I didn't want this." "I don't love Shinji Kitajima, I love you" "I didn't have a choice"
Faye "But not enough to tell me the truth" "You could have said something sooner but you didn't"
Yoko "Believe me I really wanted to" "But..."
Faye "But you didn't" "Please leave, I don't want to say anything that I'm going to regret" "I don't want to see you anymore" "LEAVE!"
Ice "Don't worry Faye I am always here for you,I will never lie to you" "Please Yoko go and don't return" "SAYONARA!"

Tearfully Yoko took her belongings and left Faye's house.

As she leaves she saw a equally in pain Faye broke down and cried and a consoling Ice embracing Faye.

After a long time of crying, Faye finally stopped.

Next morning at daybreak...

Faye's

Faye woke up with a terrible headache
She looked at herself and realized she's naked, with another woman sleeping beside her. The woman turns her head. 

It's Ice

Faye thought to herself "OMG! What have I done!"
