An Unfinished Picture

CHAPTER 21

Next morning at daybreak...

Faye's

Unfinished food is still on the dining room table.
Many empty alcohol containers varied from whiskey, vodka,wine and beer can be seen on the kitchen counter, and living room areas.  Some outer layer of clothing scattered like a trail leading to the bedroom.
Faye woke up with a terrible headache
She looked at herself and realized she's naked, with another woman sleeping beside her. The woman turns her head. 

It's Ice

Faye thought to herself "OMG! What have I done!"

Gradually Ice wakes up
She smiles at Faye
Ice "Good morning my love"
Faye "How did???" "What happened between us last night?"
Ice "Ohh, last night you made me the happiest woman." "I  never thought that it is possible for us anymore" "But last night was just like riding a bicycle, you never forget." "I never forget how good you kiss, how  good your hand feels in me.God knows how I miss that"

Now Faye remember everything.

After Faye stopped crying...
Faye "I'm hungry,you're here. Eat with me"
Faye ordered a bucket of fried chicken,some pizza and took 1 bottle of beer for each of them.
Ice "Haven't had a meal like this in ages.Kinda missed that"
They both remember in their days of youth many years ago they used to do this very often. In fact it is the only affordable meal they could buy.
Ice "Let's play a game, how about ROCK PAPER AND SCISSORS"
Faye "That's a kiddies game"
Ice "Well let me finish" "The loser has to down a shot of liquor"
Faye "That's a twist, I'm in"
Faye took out a bottle of whiskey, vodka and wine and started the game. Sometimes Faye would win and Ice would have to drink down one cup of liquor, and sometimes Ice would win and Faye would have to drink one cup of liquor.
Their game continues for several hours where by now many empty bottles of liquor are on the table.
A drunken Faye tried to get up from the dining room table
Faye "I'll go to get one more whiskey" but was stopped by Ice
Ice "You seat down, I'll get it"
An also drunken Ice get up from the chair.
Unaware that there is one of Sunny's toys on the floor, Ice steps on it,causing her to slip. Faye went to catch Ice in the nick of time.
Faye "Are you alright?"
Ice "I'm fine"
In a rush of adrenaline they madly kisses.
Then Faye takes Ice on the empty side of the dining room table,putting Ice flat on the table as they wildly kisses. And their hands even wilder,running all over each other body. Soon they eagerly removed each other clothing as the move closer to the bedroom, then land on the bed.

Back to the morning after...

Ice "In fact now that we are on this, why don't we go for a round 2?"
Ice presses Faye on the bed.
Faye "There's not going to be a round 2" "Last night... us...it was a mistake. It shouldn't have happened"
Ice "Last night was fate ,it was supposed to happen"
Faye "NO!"
Faye gets out of the bed, put on her bathing robe.
Faye "I can't do this, not ever,not with you"
Ice "Why not?"
Faye "You really leave me no choice but to do this"
Faye takes out an envelope of papers with hospital logos on it.
Faye "Go ahead, have a read"
Ice reads the medical report.
Ice "What is this?"
Faye "This is received from your father,the famous tycoon Khun Benjamin"
The medical report writes of multiple broken rib bones,many bruises, excessive bleeding, blood transfusions. And many pictures of Faye, taken by hospital staff,of her multiple injuries from head to toe.
Faye "Remember the day I was supposed to go to your house to meet your family?"
Ice "Yes, and you never came"
Faye "That is because I was beaten up, left for dead" "I was on my way to your house with a ring I saved for a year to buy when it happened" "Your father want me out of your life because I am a woman" "Who happens to be in love with his daughter, and he can't have that"
In the envelope came out a small business card, it has a P on it.
Faye "Recognize this?"
Ice "Of course, it's my family's business card"
Faye "It was the only thing left from the incident. I guess they didn't realize that this came out of their pockets"
Ice "I'm sorry that you went through all this,but I don't believe my father did this"
Faye "You are just as I expected. I knew that you are not going to believe this" "You know, what hurts me the most other than the physical pain is that you went to get married. All the time I thought our promises meant something" "But it didn't"
Ice "Our promises did mean something. You are not going to believe this but during my marriage to Nathan never have I even shared a bed with him,ask him if you like" "In fact he made sure that everyone knows how I never fulfilled my so-called wife's duty" "I was nearly raped because of this" "I saved myself for you,only you"
Faye "Enough is enough, just go!" "It's over between us.Forever!"
Ice "Last night... I thought it means something"
Faye "I only used you to get over Yoko, nothing more, nothing less" "It doesn't mean anything to me at all"
Ice "I love you"
Faye "I don't" "Seeing you will just remind me of what your father did to me" "I had to use crutches for 6 months,re-learn how to walk,be on painkillers for 2 yrs because of what he did." "Luckily my hands is not hurt coz I wouldn't be able to play any music anymore" "Good Bye Ice!"
Faye open the bedroom door which by now Ice gather her clothes and tearfully dash out of Faye's house. 

SLAM!

Faye can hear the house main door loudly slammed shut from her bedroom at the second floor.

Some hours later...

In a palatial style manor on the outskirts of Bangkok, Khun Benjamin happily enjoys brunch with his 2 wives.

Benjamin "Dear daughter, what brings you by?"

Ice "Father we got to talk!" "NOW!"
