I leave Rubys house and walk home in the pouring rain. I laugh bitterly at my fate.
I'm sure Sapph arrived today and father's already prepared her a room. Man I don't even know how I'm gonna tell her this without looking like a lunatic.
I'm really not in the mood.
I walk into the house, dust off my shoes and look around the house. I see a female pair of shoes near dads.

Sapphires POV
I moved back to my real home today.
The way here was a nightmare. The carriage hit all kinds of bumps, and the driver was cruel to me.
I guess that's what I get for being an outsider.
When I came in this morning, I saw father had my room prepared for me.
I smile.
I missed this.
This is home. Not the West.
I hear the door close. Someone's here.
Oh, I hope it's him.
I've been waiting to see him for so long.
I peak my head around the corner.
"Hugh?" I ask.

I run my hand through my hair and open out my arms to her.
"Alright come give your bro a hug. You've been waiting for it." I say pretending I'm annoyed.

I smile big, and jump into his arms hugging him tightly.
“How was your day?” I ask him curiously.
I really need this right now.

I smile back rolling my eyes and hug her tightly. She has no idea how much I need this right now
I pull away and look into her eyes.
"Sh*tty. You're gonna need to sit down..."

I look down sighing.
What could he possibly tell me?
I sit down and pat the seat next to me.
