On a Train heading towards the Diamond Kingdom. Adam and Alpha were in a their own Cab, Alpha was reading a report from one of the Numbers regarding a recent spike in Cult activity.
Alpha: " The Cult is looking into a ancient site, upon further inspection we discovered that the Cult may be trying to find an Alternative source of power." What do you think this alternative source is?
She looks at Adam, who's currently reading a light novel written by Natsume (Beta). The title of the Book is called " Beast King". A story about a young prince who had to fight and take his place as King from his Evil Uncle.
Adam: This story isn't bad.
He closed the book. He placed it with two other books. " Epic Nicky" and " Lupan the 4th"
Adam: Ms. Natsume is getting better and better at her stories.
Alpha: Well after what you did to her in Sanctuary during the Goddess Trials, She did her best to improve.
He looked at her.
Adam: I just scold her on her writing a book about me is all.
She chuckles.
Alpha: You're not wrong.
As they sat in silence, A thought occurred in Adam's head.
Adam: By the way, Alpha?
She tilted her head and smiled.
Alpha: Yes?
Adam: How has Maha and her group been? It's been a while since we last spoke to her.
She reaches over to her bag and pulled out 5 letters , each one from Maha and her group.
Alpha: They write to you. They all do, some of her friends are working in Mitsugoshi's make-up department. While the others work in the clothing department.
He noticed she didn't mention Maha, he was confused.
Adam: And what of Maha?
Alpha: She made a rather odd request. She saw some of the members handle the blessings you gave us and also had a bit of a run in with Eta.
He raised his eye brows and nods his head.
Adam: Don't tell me , she ran away ?
She shakes her head.
Alpha: Not at all , in fact she asked to join the ranks.
Hearing this news, shocked him.
Adam: I hope you said " No" ....
She crosses her arms and placed one leg over the other .
Alpha: We did. Until...
Hearing her say that , he raised an eyebrow.
Adam: Until?
Alpha: Until one night, when we had some late guests arriving late.
She held up a picture of the late guest, he pinched the bridge of his nose .
Adam: You gotta be fuckin kidding me....
